Escort Trader to Orchard Farm/Barricade

Hey... I need to know how many times you can escort the trader, at lookout point, to Orchard Farm, if there is even a limit. Also I'm added the barricade question to this thread so they don't close it since the original questions been answered.

Nope. I think it's unlimited times you can escort him. It just never ends...

I think you can do it unlimited times. but I always found mutch more interesting things to do than bother with him.... you will to.

I've beat the game and know every single secret in it... That's why I'm at the point where there is nothing better to do.

Has anyone ever tested it out? Oh and does the barricade from Greatwood Entrance to Orchard Farm ever disappear? I'm too lazy to fast track through a game and check and currently none of my save files have completed game or anything.

There's a limit.
There won't be any new trader to spawn once you've beaten JoB the first time. But there could be one last trader wandering around the lookout point.

About the barricade, it's always there even after the Protect/Attack Orchard Farm quest. There's a sign outside the entrance saying it's blocked use the other one.

The sign doesn't change, but the barricade goes away, that's how you can follow the trader into the house to get the books there. Try it and you will see.

Ok. But that never happened to me. Not even once. Darn the barricades are always there. Just bad luck for me I guess. :lol:

The barricade isn't going away for me on my current game either and I'm all the way up to JoB... Maybe it only goes away if you choose Attack Orchard Farm?

There's a limit.
There won't be any new trader to spawn once you've beaten JoB the first time. But there could be one last trader wandering around the lookout point.

When I have done the quest both ways the barricade goes away. Once that the attack or protect quest is over I can go into OF from GW Entrance and vice versa, wierd that it stays for you two.

I checked the quests in AE and the coordinates of the barricade and an explosion marker are almost exactly the same, so it is supposed to get blown up. Next time you do the quest as good, watch the entire cut seen and you will the explosion and the OF farmer runs into house to look after his wife. I'd like to hear from someone else that it goes away for, since it's two to one that it stays so far.

Well I remember it always going away for a little while after I complete the quest but if I go back later in the game its there again and I always watch the entire cut scenes...

you can do the escort the trader quest like a million times. The funny thing is the more you do the quest the harder it is to bring him to his house. If I remember, they block off the main route, and Sometimes you have to take him to orchard farm the back way. I'm pretty sure the enemies are harder, and there's more of them. If I remember correctly. So try going to orchard the back way, see if the barricade is there.

I've done most of the quests. And this has to be the funniest one of all.

If we enter the Greatwood Lake, the trader would say "You certainly know your way around. Ok, let's get going."
If the Greatwood entrance worked, the whole escort trader task would seem too easy. Well, it's a simple task anyway. :lol: So supposedly the barricade should be there in my opinion.
