You're not to blame, I just honestly didn't expect it... but in all truthfulness it only got me more psyched for the game

I doubt it will be a final boss. Why would you fight a boss if your king. I heard PM saying that you don't wanna go running around the country side all the time when your king. I could see it maybe be a monster Aurora controls if there really is a fight between the kingdoms.

wouldnt the king be more likely to fight the bosses?
thats like saying there isnt any point in traveling to aurora when you need to rule albion every second of the day.

surely you can send troops to fight minor outbreaks of rebels or monsters. but i doubt that you wouldn't get to fight anymore bosses after becoming king.

and if it isnt the final boss, why would it represent the achievement for completing the game?

judging by the proportions of the monster, i doubt it would work well as a boss if scaled big
its probably an auroran enemy, possibly like the shadow monsters in the gameplay previews
