Tenth grade, exiting.

You have no idea what kind of sh*t storm you're in for next year. I just finished my junior year today. It was such a b*tch! You have no f*cking idea how stoked I am! Socially, this year was better than the last two, but the work load made me practically sh*t my pants on several occasions. Not to mention I do sports as well, which eats up even more of my time. Now that it's all over though, everything is super awesome!!! It's summer so I won't have any school work, I've already got a summer job lined up that won't give me too many hours, I'm gonna be trying to get with this chick over the summer, and I won't even be bummed about going back to school next year because I'm taking total advantage of the fact that I can bull**** my senior year with no repercussions!

And about that nostalgic feeling of wishing high school wasn't over, I get that around the end of every year. It'll be alright though. Aside from college, I won't end up being away from high school. I'm going to be a teacher.

Math is the only thing I have ever had a problem with, always F or D in Math.
But in English/Grammar, Art, Science and History classes I excel.

Re: Finished School

I know it sounds cheesy and overdone, but the school years are the best years of your life. You wont realise that until you're faced with leaving it, though. Hell, I'm doing TAFE (like community college, apparantly) and I really miss my high school days.

Re: Finished School

It does depend if you get the job you want to do though, doesn't it? If you like it, you'll miss your school days least, right?

Re: Finished School

Oh yeah you have to stay in compulsory education 'til you're 18 don't you? Ah well.

History Paper B tomorrow, sources. Wish me luck ^_^

Re: Finished School

Thanks, the exam was alright. I went out with a girl after which was the real test, I've been out of action for a few months.

Re: Finished School

Yeah Americans go through K - 12, and get out at 18 unless they fail a grade or are able to skip one, I didn't know in Britain you get out at 16? That's interesting.

Re: Finished School

Yeah Hobbe, you know Sixth form isn't compulsory?

Oh, wait a second, it is for your year, they're changing it aren't they?

Shirosaki, you're bloody lucky. I know for a fact my college are COMPLETELY changing GCSE years after this year and it seems like a much harder course. You got out while you could.
