I don't seem what is so hard about this. I'm terrible with math. All you basically do is find out what the variables mean and plug in the right numbers, follow the order of operations (BIDMAS or BEDMAS, I think it is just a regional difference in name, but is still the same thing) and then you got it.

That's what I thought. =|

Moreover: If you write that exact formula into something like a calculator, you don't even have to worry about BIDMAS, since it's already correct. :P

I dont know what bidmas or bedmas are....... I r behind in math, I should be taking geometry, I am taking algebra 1 again cuz I missed a month of school for vacation...

BIDMAS cares about the order of how different parts of an equation should be solved. Multiplying ( 3*4=12) comes before adding up (2+2=4). So: 3+3*5 -> 3+15 = 18.
But you don't have to take that into account with if you enter the values into this formula, if you litterly write it into a calculator, because it's already in theright order. OR, if you don't have a calculator; that site I posted on the previous page, on the bottom. I even explained how to use it. ;)

what, so like pemdas?
1. parenthises
2. exponents
3. multiplication
3. divison
4. addition
4. subtraction

operations in the same step are done left to right.

Is it the same or different?

The same, only, I don't exactly know what BIDMAS stands for. :P
It should only be noted that at the same place as 'exponent' there should also be 'roots', and multiplying should always come before division, also addiyion and substraction are equal. They should be treated at the same level, from left to right. :P

BIDMAS=Brackets, indices, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction.
BEDMAS=Brackets, exponenets, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction.

Also, I think that division and multiplication are paired together and done in order from left to right as they appear in the equation. Same goes for addition/subtraction.
