It's pretty sweet, Vic. Officially, I'm a film and TV editor (you know, Final Cut Pro and Avid and such), but I also have a writing directing background, and my folks were playtesters for D&D back in the day. (They played in Gary Gygax's basement outside Lake Geneva.) So I grew up with games...
Anyway, I was hired at FOX out of college as an editor in the web department, and they wanted to do some new original web programming... I suggested a show about video games. So, three years later, I've been the sole writer/director/editor/producer of "FOX News Gamers Weekly" - their #1 most watched video podcast. Pretty awesome.
I also edit shows for a variety of other television networks, but "Gamers Weekly" is still my baby, so I love doing it. And I love the gaming community... Both the players and the creators. I've gotten to play "Wii Sports Resort" with Miyamoto, chill with Peter Molyneux, and meet a ton of awesome fellow gamers. So, yeah, I love it.
