Do you Play Xbox 360 Games for The Entertainment side or To Try and get us Much Gamerpoints as you can???

It actually varies quite alot..

Total achievement junkie...but it does depend on the game. There are a few I'll play again and again regardless of whether I have all the points or not

I rented out 5 games on a week just for the acheivments i went from 4000 to 7600

Stupid thing is, I can't even get half the achievements on the games we have :lol:

How about both? The achievements just make me try some things in games that i wouldnt normally do.

meh i just gamed non stop i had a holiday and was bored Lol it was a fun week lack of sleep, but now i have a gf so i have a life for once XD i doudt shed actualy let me do that for an entire week Lulz

Both. To play the games for fun is the obvious thing to do, but going for the achievements may coerce otherwise casual gamers into doing things they might not have tried before.

^EXACTLY. I do it for both, if I really wanted all those achievements that I don't have yet, I could have most of them. The only one I really aimed for was Mile High Club.

I would never buy a game for the sole purpose of getting 1000 Gamerscore out of it. But if my friend is dumb enough to, I wouldn't mind borrowing it from him.

I think I take achievement hunting far too seriously. Except with Call of Duty 4 and World At War which have no unlockable online achievements (except two 0 points ones). I play Call of Duty 4 multiplayer games for fun. And a little bit of friendly competition with my cousin to see who can rank up the fastest.

I still love the Gears of War 2 Horde mode as well. Me and a group of lads managed to crack it and get the level 50 achievement but I still find it fun to play. It's just a shame that most of the people on my XBL friend's list have moved onto Call of Duty: World At War and playing with randomers is no fun because 99.99*% of the time someone always quits early.

I love how Call of Duty isn't in to the online achievements thing, because then no one has those acheivements, and then I do. All my CoD 4 fanatic friends barely have 500G in the game.

I play for the games.
I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the achievements, hence why my gamer points are so low. I don't actually try to get any unlocks.

Achievements Smeviements.. They're Just numbers ???? Woopty doo..

But they give you the idea to try things that you normally wouldnt in a game without having the idea put in your head. To me that adds to the replay value and also gives you something to attempt as a sense of achievement. I mean completing a level without firing a bullet and things like that wouldnt come into your mind unless you were really bored so doing this is good fun if theres an achievement for it.

Well theres rumours that they could start to unlock new avatar items on the new NXE. Not the points themselves but certain achievements. I just like the fact they are there and its nice hearing the achievement noise pop up while doing something. :lol:
