Boiling, because it's been eighty degrees down there within the last week. In JANUARY.

As you can see from the above, I've been practicing my redneck accent, so I won't get beat up until after I've had the opportunity to steal all their Confederate battle flags and **** all over them. Then dump on some gas and light them on fire. And... tangent over. Dear southerners, please don't get offended and stone me.

There was no humidity. Just one day of 40 and rainy, one day of 35 and sunny. And two days of 60+. One of which was almost 75 degrees. It was awesome.

HEY! Softball has its plusses. Really tight pants, or failing that short (if baggy) shorts.

Softball is baseball, with bigger balls, smaller fields, no mounds, and underhand pitching. Not a girl's game, with the exception of fastpitch, like my sister plays, which is basically the female version of high school baseball.

And jeeze, Angel, what is this-- you Brits kick the game out of the Olympics and you can't even be bothered to know what it is? Despicable. (Yes, I know you Brits didn't kick anything out of the Olympics. But it's more fun to blame you at this moment than the dear, Eurocentric IOC.)

And thanks for the good luck. They lost every game except one, where the team from Florida tried to call the game because they couldn't handle the weather and then played like ****.

I was being sarcastic. I know no one talks like that. But no, the accent is NOT limited to Louisiana. I noticed it at every damn truck stop or restaurant I visited. Not major, but definitely there, in different degrees and tones.
