Gif?

I've seen some people with Gif Avatars and I was wondering how you do it.

Everytime I try to put a Gif as my avatar it freezes it.

I made mine then put it on photobucket make sure its saved as an animated gif not a normal one? this could help i had trouble at fist then i found out it wwasnt saved as an animated one

yeah I've found on a lot of forums how you get the image matters a lot so don't upload it from your computer as an avatar post it on Photobucket and use a direct link as stated by azer

It's because your gif is too large (in file size and size dimensions 100x100), thus they are turned into jpegs and resized to 100x100 if too large.

PEgo has a ridiculously small image size limit; that's probably your problem.

100x100 isn't that bad, it used to be smaller than that.
