Glitch in Jak II

I found a weird glitch while crawling across the Jak and Daxter wiki.

If you have Scene Player Act 1, and select the first cutscene on the list (Strange new World), and when the Naughty Dog logo shows up, you press the Eject button on your PS2. Then you press the Triangle button twice, press the Eject button again, press Continue, and voila, you are in Sandover Village! To move, you select Restart Mission, and hit Yes.

The reason my video is crooked is because my couch was uneven :realmad:

Well they only needed the level there for the intro video. No need for sound FX if they add their own later. still looks cool though,

yea.

And it's cool there is the KG crates there.

But you can't go to Sentinel beach or places outside SV.

I figured. Is it just an endless expanse of blue when you get there?

Yes. But even the sand doesn't go on forever.

Come back in like maybe 1/2 hour or 3/4 hour. I will have another video.

Do you have the old ps2? I still have one, but idk if it works. My eject is the top going up, so it might not work

It was on the "fat" PS2. I don't know if it'll work on your slim one.

It'd be even better if you could use the guns or Dark Jak. I tried with my Codebreaker, and the unlimited Dark Jak code didn't work. Oh well.

I love the Jak and Daxter series, I've played the first one but I've beaten Jak2, Jak3, and Jak Combat Racing, haven't played Daxter yet or The Lost Frontier, hope they're good though!

I haven't played Daxter because I don't have a PSP, but it seems Frontier will be awesome!

Agreed. I'm ganna get a psp just for that game..

I thought I had a save with everything unlocked. clearly i was wrong so I have to beat it first before I can have any glitch fun.

No, you just need Scene Player Act 1 which costs 60 orbs. And seeing there is only 200 in the game, you shouldn't have much trouble.

I don't have my Jak II, I let someone borrow it... All I have is the precursor legacy... I found that one mezmorizing yet tedious.

Haha I just started playing that again today... I just unlocked the Red Sage's portal.

Update! (it's been 1 week, so I suppose a bump is in order)

You can do the same in Jak 3! I'll post a video sometime in the future.
