Re: Guide to Emo Punching

My point is, being a fan of them can conceivably add you to a culture that is reviled on a very similar level to emo culture, so you don't have much room to belittle others as though your own views are completely perfect and not open to criticism yourself.

Have you ever even met an emo? Or met someone you think was an emo? Nine times out of ten, that guy who looks like he's just been through Beetlejuice's closet is actually a pretty decent person. When you get older, you just notice things like that.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

^ I have stated many times that I have met emos, and if your reffering to Goth, us members of Gothdom are very different from emo... and read back for my feelings on emo people I know...

P.S I was wondering when you would reply :)

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

I can barely differentiate between emos and goths at all, to be quite honest. They're all the same to me. I always thought they were just sort of... interspliced with one another or something. Now here you come, and suddenly emos and goths are the Bloods and the Crips.

You darn kids these days. Why can't you center your lives around cool cultures? Like... samurai. Samurai are awesome. They're all WACHA with swords and stuff. They roam around looking for ninjas to kill, and they have all these cool honor codes, and armor, and... ah hell you don't care. Too busy mosh pitting or... whatever with your punk friends. Listening to this goshdurned rock and roll stuff... Kids, I tell you. Now get off my lawn.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

There's more information on those sites than either culture deserves, so I'll pass.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

^ that people... is bliss, he doesnt want to learn about either culture, in this sense he can mindlessly insult both without knowledge of either :)

as far as I am concerned: I win!

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

I wonder why it's suddenly so trendy to attack a certain group of people.

Then again, that has always been human nature, hasn't it?

So sad...

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

You win what? Were we arguing? I don't argue with kids or teenagers. We're having a discussion.

What I want to know is if there's a point to your self-righteous revolution against emos that is not solely because you're a close-minded teenager. Did one of them bully you when you were in kindergarten, did you catch one in bed with your sister, did they get a better score on your math exam than you...?

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't excessive complaining emo?

So, by extension, wouldn't many of the people in this thread, in fact, be emo?

A conundrum.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

no excessive complaining isnt neccesarily emo, and I am not complaining, I am teaching... and its none of those Darkside, its because they are a disgrace...

You see that is just crossing the line.

Who are you to tell people how to live, how to act? The only disgrace here is you actually believing that it is right to hate a group of people simply because you disagree with how they live.

You need to act like a human being because it seems to me you're the one that needs to be punched in the face.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

go ahead :) its my opinion and I can think whatever I want... and I have been saying that from the start, you just now catch on? anyway this is off topic, I offered my proofs and my literature, and it has not been read by at least Darkside... anyway I am out of this, unless I see a reason emos are not stupid and a disgrace to the sub-culture phrase, I will reframe from commenting further (unless its worth it)...

You're just sad. A very very very sad individual. I don't know what the hell is happening/has happened to make you like that, but it's appalling.

I suppose I'll drop you on my ignore list to avoid any further confrontations.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

Haha, you seriously just did not call that stuff "literature."

Well, whatever. The moral of this topic is: Samurai are awesome.

#1 because I like people
#2 I never said they were anti social so how can you use that as an arguement point?
#3 well research more, there is a sub-culture series, this includes: Punk, Goth, Emo, Chav and many more...
#4 that isnt depression, depression is a syndrome, ignorance isnt
#5 yes it does: people I know felt better about themselves before emo then they were after...

1. Yet when they do something you don't like you punch them. Hypocritical much?
2. That's how many phase them, but...most emos i know are not talkative and only whine when in a group with other emos.
3. Whats wrong with that? How does it affect you?
4. Their sad about life does not mean ignorance! Explain your reasoning, again, that shows little to no resemblance to depression
5. Its their choice for one, and for two, after they get done being emo they would supposeably be happy, would they not?

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

"im emo, im as non-conforming as can be! youd be non-conforming to if you looked just like me!"

sorry, just had to say that. emos bug me to, but i say just leave them alone.

but for the record, i like studded belts and lip peircings and im NOT emo.

"people with real problems dont have time to be emo." - TJ Griffin

and why are you against PETA? PETA does stand for People Eating Tasty Animals, right?

i guess im sort of contradicting myself there, but i say dont judge people. i still dont like the emo ways though. just ignore the emos, they will destroy themselves eventually anyway. in the meantime, they make wonderful material for hilarious youtube vids.

I don't need to dodge anything. You're doing nothing to help yourself.

Now, I leave you with this piece of wisdom:

"When we see persons of worth, we should think of equaling them; when we see persons of a contrary character, we should turn inwards and examine ourselves." - Confucious

FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A VALID ARGUEMENT!!

1. I can see your point there

2. I can see that, but many emos are in fact social, just like people think Goths will go and sacrifice your dog to Satan, but that almost never happens either... Point is: That isnt what I am poking at...

3. It bothers me thats how, and I am the kind of person that when something bothers me, I try to fix it so it doesnt... :ninja:

4. Again: nothing against depressed people!! Depression is all around "my life sucks" disorder, they cant help it, alot of times they dont even know why they are depressed! Its just there... now emo depression is: find something to whine about, and if you cant find anything to whine about, cry about life in genereral, and how much yours sucks. heres regular depression: my life sucks, why? I think I kinda know, but I am not sure, I just feel terrible, and gloomy...

5. It is their choice, but you cant say you havent tried to change people can you? and you would think, but now they have the shame of being emo for a time, and the whole line up of jokes that meanies can lay on them...

Darkside, you know who you remind me of? My Grandfather :w00t:
you somehow APPEAR this disorder that:
1. You are older, so you obviously know more than anyone younger than you...

2. Want to take part in conversations, without information...

3. Like to call people whipper snappers and **** like that...

yep... alot like old gramps O.o
