FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A VALID ARGUEMENT!!

1. I can see your point there

2. I can see that, but many emos are in fact social, just like people think Goths will go and sacrifice your dog to Satan, but that almost never happens either... Point is: That isnt what I am poking at...

3. It bothers me thats how, and I am the kind of person that when something bothers me, I try to fix it so it doesnt... :ninja:

4. Again: nothing against depressed people!! Depression is all around "my life sucks" disorder, they cant help it, alot of times they dont even know why they are depressed! Its just there... now emo depression is: find something to whine about, and if you cant find anything to whine about, cry about life in genereral, and how much yours sucks. heres regular depression: my life sucks, why? I think I kinda know, but I am not sure, I just feel terrible, and gloomy...

5. It is their choice, but you cant say you havent tried to change people can you? and you would think, but now they have the shame of being emo for a time, and the whole line up of jokes that meanies can lay on them...

:D
3.How does punching people fix anything though? That will just make them more depressed and hate you, not fix it.
4. I think your extremely generalizing here though, because your trying to group every emo as a whiner, when most eos are anti-social, actually depressed (As in 'gloomy' depression) or the other half (Which you hate) Whiners who hide behind emo tag-line. Not all emos are whiners, so why say you want to punch/beat all of them?
5. I have tried to change people, hell i actually have changed quite a few people! But that's not the point, the point is your trying to change them by...punching them. How do punching them fix anything? And i laughed at that last part :P, "line of jokes meanies can lay on them," what about "Line of punches firis wants to lay on them"

This is a Guide on how to spot and deal with Emos:

How to spot a emo:

#1 Medium length hair covering one eye, stereotypically black with possibly other colors.

#2 Lip piercing

#3 Band tee (usually a screamo band), and cut up jeans with a studded belt.

NOTE: these arent certain signs for an emo, then can wear other stuff or people who arent emo could like that style.

Things that certainly show that they are emo:

#1 likes screamo music. (this is true for alot of youth though aswell.)

#2 depressed. (Not all emos are depressed though.)

#3 Cut marks. (not all Cutters are Emo.)

For one just because someone has a particular taste in music, haircuts and a piercing does not mean they are emo. Your talking about disliking 'emos' for their woe is me attitude yet list things that are physical features and a musical taste. Sounds to me like you are merely generalising a huge group of people for no reason at all. I like Bullet For My Valentine and some would call them Screamo in some circles, i like girls with piercings (as i have no piercings myself) and i quite like studded belts and the colour black. Does that make me emo... umm no not in the slightest.

Also to add an ex girlfriend of mine self harmed (didnt cut herself) but she got depressed after death of an Aunty. Thought she was being punished for something and used to sit scratching her skin until she bled. She was also diagnosed shortly afterwards with depression. However there was only me who saw that side as she hid it from everyone else and used to always be smiling. She never complained about anything and never once said her life sucked. However by your stereotyping she too would be classed as emo in your world... i know you said not all cutters are emo but since she didnt cut she just self harmed i thought that might fit into your over all generalisation.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

^first I said many things... notice the: NOTE: these are not dead sure signs of an emo.... and the "but many youth listen t it aswell though" by the screamo one for example?

3. I said in my first post, it was the less preffered option, but it is the funnest imo...

4. yes it is generalising, you know why? it is because when I look up emo culture I never come up with anything other then what I have already posted in several posts here, so I can only go by what I see, read, research and hear... and every single one I have seen is like that, of course you cant say that they are ALL like that, thats like saying that your cookies cant come out different and your only justification of that theory is that you used the same cookie cutter... point is: I cant find anything other then stereotypes on the web and when I hear it frrom an emos view it gives me little answers except that: I dont understand them, and here is no reasons at all why I dont... so I can only generalise by what I see read hear research and experience...

5. reffer back to #3... however love that phrase at the end!

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

Dude, I bet some people here want to punch you for the way you think too. You might not agree with something, but other people still have the right to express what they want, however "sad" it may seem to you. Live and let live.

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

thats retarded, have you ever come in a situation that Live and let live has worked? cause I havent, if you live and let live you just look like a *****, if you try to make a difference your a revolutionary, not to say that there isnt wisdom in your words but seriously, if we would have Lived and let Lived, we would not have all we have today, and if you say we can do without it... then get rid of it!

And your saying that people want to punch me for my opinions, well then fine... here is my medaphore with racism style: so I can be called Cracker, Whitey, Q-Tip, White rabbit, albino and paper face... yet I cant say darky, Blacky, the N-Bomb (which is the official name of peopel who come from that section of Africa) and now it is politicaly incorrect in America to call them Black? so in the same way, I can have opinions and express them, yet I am supposed to believe that your opinion is better then mine and that if I dont agree then I should be punched? everyone has their opinion, people want to punch me for wanting to punch certain people, well thats life now isnt it, if I was worried about that I wouldnt be human, I would be in a cage keeping every little thought to myself, and if the world was like that, then nothing would work out...

I am actually surprised you see it that away. You can't change people to think the way you do, so why not love them for what they are?
You are blowing it out of reality, it doesn't matter how we think, others will think differently. I am not saying not to stand up for rights, or anything, it means let people alone, and let them be their selves. Can't we all just get along, or do you just want to fight? :wassat:

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

EMO is a music genre (emotional) not a lifestyle, many people has misunderstood that. :D

Re: Guide to Emo Punching

^I know it is that, but its also now a term for the "sub-culure" of sad pathetics...
