Opinions on maps, abilities and weapons.
Sword base is fun but not as good as others, and a little lopsided to whoever gets the Plasma Cannon or is Defense. Liked it but didn't love it.
Powerhouse is an all around spiritual successor to Highground. Very enjoyable.
Abilities:
Evade is very useful and I find the noise the elite makes when rolling as amusing.
Sprint is kind of lackluster, don't use it very often, good for getting out of a rockets path.
Armor Lock is useful, people say it is over powered, you just have to use your brain and time a grenade and stay away from him. But for the user it is very useful, it has saved me from many rockets and grenades.
Active Camo is perfect for sniping and ambushing.
The Jetpack is good for quick bursts but leaves you a target, I use it wisely but it is my favorite class.
WEAPON opinions.
AR, same as the Halo 3 one, in short not bad, but the pistol is better.
Pistol, good power, descent range, can take on the AR or the DMR in a fight so plenty useful.
Plasma Pistol is more useless than ever but looks really cool.
Plasma Repeater, I hate it, it seems less than useful against people with semi-automatic weapons.
Needler seems too nerfed.
Plasma Cannon is an excellent "Super weapon"
The Rocket is a rocket
Sniper feels beautiful.
Shotgun is more effective than ever.
Grenades are useful as hell, but the carry limit is painful.
Focus rifle is good, but not too good.
Energy sword is the same, works and feels good.
DMR/Needle rifle, both are cool, but I prefer the Needle Rifle because of the Supercombine abilities and look.
