Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I mentioned I'd be doing a few in this thread so here is one of them.

It's been severely downsized by the forum, so I've also posted the direct links.

The title of the comic is "True Story".

Link to the comic
(Note: It has been resized here as well, the original is the size of a A3 piece of paper.)

Slightly smaller version of above link

And in the spoiler is the forum resized version, if you really can't be bothered to click on a link.

Comment below and tell me what you thought. Also state whether or not you'd want to see the others I've drawn.

- Big Daddy D

EDIT:

The title of the comic is "The Pants Party".

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I enjoyed the reading of this comic. John's shirt that says "I love my girl" makes her cheating on him even funnier. Also, nice work with the pose for the tiger, and the hair.

I would like to see more.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

that got me to laugh to myself out loud!
good work!

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

It's a bit short, but the quality is outstanding.

I L.O.L.'ed.

Great work, and yes, please show more.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

That is single-handedly the best webcomic I've ever seen. Bravo! I'd love to read more.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

MORE! WE WANT MORE!

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

Frooping amazing dude, I envy thine Paint skills, I am limited to paper and mediocre/average skills.

I wewdnt go that far but it really was GRRREAT!

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I would. I can't stand most webcomics like XKCD, Qwantz and all that other rubbish. Cyanide & Happiness can sometimes raise a smile for every one out of a hundred of their comics; but the only half-decent webcomic I've come across thus far has been AmazingSuperPowers. droded's comic was actually funny and is about a thousand time's better than anything I've ever read on XKCD.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I lulzed... hard.

I'd tap tony.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I didn`t laugh... mostly because I thought there was a reference I didn`t know. If there wasn`t, I suppose I`m humorless.:(

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

Very Family Guy-esque.

Delicious.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

Phew,
at least it was a reference joke I figured out eventually, but since I haven`t seen the commercials, I can`t relate.
Well, anyway - Droded, we want more!!

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

Great work on many levels, I would love to see more.
The girl kinda looks like Elaine from Sienfeld to me.

Try going to this site - I found it much funnier than the others and only discovered it recently.

Do you mean the style or the joke? I think the style was my own personal one, but I suppose I was influences by a lot of western animation.

Tony the Tiger is a mascot for Frosted Flakes, a cereal company. He always uses 'they're great' in some exaggerated way in the commercials.

Thanks JD for clearing that up, people not getting the reference was one of my fears when drawing it!

Thanks Jason, good to see you around these parts again! ^_^

The characters were actually based on me and my girlfriend, although very slightly.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

The joke, mostly. They often use popular culture like this in their jokes... what am I saying, they friggin' always use it.

Like when Major West beat the Zoid to death.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

lol excellent work droded :D

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

I've added another one to the first post.

I'm afraid they're all terrible jokes like this one.

I like the joke, and I didn't expect it, but for some reason just staring at the guys face in the second panel makes me laugh more than anything.

Re: Here's one of those comics I said I'd post.

Your ego doesn't seem to need any more boosting, but yes, you are good at this.

You got cucholded by Tony the Tiger at the ripe old age of eight? You poor guy.

I read XKCD... but schlockmercenary.com is waay better. Or, honestly? This webcomic makes me giggle. Unshelved beats them all, but... you might not get it if you don't work in a library.
