Re: Highest MW2 Kllstreaks

I don't have MW2 nor have I played, but I want to respond to this:When I do FPS games, I prefer camping to out-and-out combat. I find myself most useful when taking out enemy snipers, and I like to pretend I'm doing
something like this each time. I'm less useful taking out the faster moving targets and I'm useless when I'm one of those faster moving targets. Plus sniping is fun, if you do it right, everyone will call you a cheater when really
you were hiding right on top of them and they can't stand that they didn't notice.
I can't snipe properly, not on PvP anyway. I have a tendency to "shoot on site" and begin firing away the moment I spot someone when I should lay low and wait for a better shot. I'm more affective as a fast moving target, running laps around the outside of the map taking out targets on the fly. Like I said, I get antsy staying in one place, but I am good at taking out targets while still darting around and making myself as erratic and hard to pin down as possible. My fatal flaw is that I am to quick to reload, and will often get the jump on someone, take them out, immediately reload and get killed by his ally around the corner while I'm still reloading. I am not very affective in confined spaces such as indoor maps, and am more affective on outdoor maps with a cluster of buildings (that you can't enter) in the middle.
I once had a really awesome match where I was very successfully taking people out on the fly, until I was completely out of ammo. While still on the run, I swapped out for a new weapon without even considering what it was (who cares, I'm out of ammo!) took out a two guys around the corner, swapped for one of their guns (out of ammo again) killed another guy, took his gun, killed a few more, ok you get the idea. Anyway I ended up being the top player on the map for that round. Doesn't really sound that great, but it was, trust me I was on fire that round.
That said, I'm not to big on the multiplayer aspect of FPS games. Its fun for a little while, but I soon move on to other things. I would find online multiplayer much more entertaining if there was absolutely no means of communication between players whatsoever. Any of the few people on here that have gamed with me online will know that I am not big on verbal communication. Some of them where able to entice me into dusting off my mic and using it, but even then I still don't have much to say. But party/friend chat doesn't bother me, its the people one finds in random matches that are the true pests. Seriously, STFU. Yes, yes, I made a foolish move and you got the better of me. Congrats, I'm sure your parents are quite proud of your achievements. Why don't you go away and tell
them about it? I would be nice if people used their mics for strategy, and put a little team effort into team matches, but they don't. I wish there was an option to mute and block communications from EVERYONE but friends [EDIT: There is a way, I just wasn't aware of it as usual], because I'm really not in the market for live commentary on my playing style, thanks though.
Ok, I'm done ranting now. Sorry if I derailed the thread. Anyway, my average game ends in a K/D ratio of roughly 13-8. Not very good, I know, but I enjoy being reckless. My killstreaks are fairly low though, usually around 4. My best is probably around 7. I haven't played MW2 (and probably won't) for a while or I would check the actual stats.
