MISLEADING! :D :shifty: This is ganna sound weird, but I just got a new phone and I'm trying to get used it it. It's so different. How hard is it for you to learn and get the hang of a new phone, or any new device?

Well... When I went from Gameboy Color to my PSP it was one hell of a transition. But I got used to it pretty quick.

But what was even worse is when I went from my horse & buggy to my Chevy...

No seriously, it was :|

*reads title* Aww yeahh..

..Oh, wtf..

It takes about as much time as it does for me to learn a new video game.. a handful of minutes to an hour, depending on if I read the manual and how many stupid and unnecessary features the manufacturer crammed into the phone that one has to sift through.

Firstly: Erection. Boner.

Secondly: Not hard at all. I'm a child of the modern age; I'm as proficient at using and learning these little gadgets as I am crippled and lost without them.

I just fail then...*sad face*

Does it play the tune from 2001 when the monkeys evolve to using tools when she finally gets it?

I love watching my mum with her fancy Blackberry. It's like she's a monkey bashing a coconut on the side of a rock.

That's exactly how both my parents are with technology today, especially my dad. He stills bangs on devices like they're an old analog TV, hoping it will finally cooperate and blames all mistakes on the device and the manufacturer. Rather than admitting that he has no idea what he's doing.

Amazingly, I hum the tune to myself every time.

My dad's like that.

any electronic takes me a good day of screwing around to figure it out. the change from useing windows XP for ... 9-ish years to windows 7 took me about 3 days. a solid day of set-up/downloading and re-installing crap.

going from this:View attachment 524 (i dont even remember what it was called)

To this:View attachment 525 (LG optimus one)
Took me about 5 days...

I went from a slide phone that was many years old to another more modern slide phone and then took the plunge and got a new fandangled touch screen phone. Having never gotten used to touch screen phones and not being able to use my Fiancee's phone at all I was worried but my phone was really easy to use. Its now overtaken the D600 as the best and most reliable phone ive owned.

I went from:

Samsung D600

To Sony Ericsson C905 (most unreliable phone ive owned)

I now own a HTC Desire and its brilliant

D600 ftw. I refuse to change from it, even though it's very temperamental now. 6 years old and still the best phone ever created.

I hate getting new tech of any kind because it takes me ages to get the hang of it. I especially hate anything "smart" - it immediately makes me very suspicious.

If it was up to me, we'd all still be using two tin cans connected by string to talk to one another...

It'd be more effective than my first and only $20 phone.
It hasn't had credit since Christmas 2010...

Mine still works now and battery still lasts around a week, I have to charge my new phone every day. However I do check websites, emails, Facebook and Twitter a lot of the day at work which eats my battery.

My uncle is hardcore. His "mobile" phone is one of those backback-and-phone dealies they use in the army.

Ho-rah!

Took me about 5 days to a week (can't remember what the accurate amount of time was lul) to get used to my phone, which is an incredibly s**t HTC Wildfire, and was actually worse than the phone that it replaced.
