I. Hate. iTunes.

So I finally got the newest iTunes version, after missing a few upgrades, but I was content with the current version. Now I have 8.2. And it is driving me insane.

So the story that almost made me go on an Apple staff killing spree:

I'm trying to sync some RATM onto my iPod touch, and only that music on my playlist. But, as most of you know, you can get nifty apps and such for it. Now, for some reason 90% of the apps aren't showing up in iTunes, but before it didn't matter. I didn't have to sync those. With the latest version you have to sync EVERYTHING. So before I noticed this was happening, I already lost about 25% of my apps. All for some Rage Against The Machine. And most of them were paid for apps. So from this I have two questions.

1. Why is everything that Apple makes garbage?
2. Is there an alternative program for syncing an iPod Touch? I think I remember Andy talking about one, but I would prefer to have a program reccomended instead of just googling and then picking out the first one.

Thanks in advance.

Re: I. Hate. iTunes.

1. Because hipsters and dumb people buy their overpriced crap.
2. Not sure what 'syncing' is, I just have a 20 gig MP3 player and upload all my music from my computer into one giant playlist.

Syncing is just some stupid name for uploading to an mp3 device. And it probably has another meaning which I don't know.
HotSYNC.

Ever hear of Palm? Probably not, because you think you are too good for 90's PDAs.

Re: I. Hate. iTunes.

And have you ever done this? Bricking is not random, it is from idiots who can't follow instructions properly. And it is fixable. All you have to do is find the downloaded firmware, shift click the restore button in iTunes, locate the firmware, and restore. Bam. Done. iPod fixed.
