Re: insert complaints here please!
Weapon morph. I do find this interesting. I would like to have one strong sword and then kill thousands of enemies and then the souls of those enemies turn the weapon into something epic looking. The thing I do not like is that it might not morph into the right way, instead of morphing into something that would strike fear into the hearts of my enemies it might turn into some weapon that looks soft and frilly. Also somewhere I heard that your weapons level up instead of you, I hope not. I also heard that you would have choices to give up your hard earned weapons for something.
Holding hands. When have you held hands in real life? Ether when you are with your lover or when leading a little child somewhere. I could see it now two manly men coming back from an epic battle and one suggests going to a pub and the other doesn’t know where one is so they hold hands and frolic to the nearest pub.
The nemesis. In the first game it was an evil entity from another dimension vanquished long ago that came back to take back his sword and rule the world, the final boss being him with minions or him as a dragon. In the second game it was someone rich and powerful who decided to make a tower (evily) to bring his family back or something and it had a chance of wiping out that part of the world, the final boss being a really big spire shard (was unhappy, tough I would fight him as he channeled the power of the spire) In this upcoming game it seems like it is your evil brother took the thrown and is being a meany by being an industrialist and having child labor and maybe high taxes, more like real world politicians. It just seems like the villains are losing their luster.
Unlimited lives. In the first game if you died you had revival potions but I think if you didn’t have any you would die and have to start over from the last save/checkpoint (never died so dunno). In the second game you could have been a zombie with narcolepsy since you could never die and if your life bar went to 0 you would just faint for awhile. It takes the whole risk factor out of the game.
Wings. Why? Do they have any use? If it’s just for looks does that mean we will get other animal attributes like a dragon’s tail if you are evil and a dog or rabbits tail if you are good. OMG, you are now a furry. 0_o’ (PS: could you have only one wing?)
I see that the menu is more fluent and tangible instead of a 2d page. This is good but it might make a good long while to do something.
Linear worlds. The first game was good, the world was linear but it did not feel too cramped. The second game had one half of the world on one side of the starting point and the other half of the world on the other side, and there is only one path you can take to go from point A to point B.
Jumping. It would be nice to see a rock and being able to jump on it or being able to jump off any point on a cliff and sliding down it. Now you might say “they do have jumping, you can jump off a cliff into a river or lake” and I would agree but you can only jump off at those points, in other places there are invisible walls keeping you from jumping/sliding down an incline or something.
Better looking people. In the first game there were people that looked pretty good. The people in the second game made me cringe. Trying to get the fullness of the game I decided to marry but I had to search the entire land and couldn’t find one woman that looked decent, well except the whores.
Let me kill people I do not like. I know this is not consistent but the hero of skill in the second game was an a$$, can I kill him or at least rough up his face?
Armor. I liked armor in the first game and when the second game came out I was unhappy until I got the armor in the DLC. I know it had no use in real life after guns came out but it still looks nice.
Ruling the country. Hopefully in the third game you can rule your country instead of just having the name of king or queen and having a castle. Like controlling the military, making laws, building buildings and roads, etc. Custom-ability of your kingdom.
Saved games. Please let the player save the same game on two different save files. Sometimes I want to be a good player and sometimes I want to be a bad player; can I play the game up to the point where I become king and then save two files so in one I can be a good king and in the other rule with an iron fist. Also some of us screw up.
