Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

So, she would train a hero to kill a man who has done nothing wrong at that point?
I can't even start to imagine how you would believe that could be a possible scenario.
And to Jakuro, yes, someone has let the ball slip they are voicing for Fable 3.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

It is thought that Theresa used the Hero, Hammer, Reaver and Garth, using them for own personal gain, to own the Spire. Although this is only speculation her behavior at the end of the game after choosing the Heroes' ending she will say "But The Spire... Is Mine....Begone."

After gathering the four heroes and "activating" the Spire power within them, Theresa vanishes. Lucien then appears from nowhere and acts completely unconcerned with Theresa's absence. When asked what he had done with Theresa he states, "Your fortune telling friend? I merely listened."

She seems to have the same shape as one of the Shadow's Court Spectres (the one in the center).

As the game progresses Theresa's skin loses its hue until it is at a very deep shade of gray. The same skin discoloration appears in Hero characters who become increasingly evil.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

Theresa could possibly be evil, if she can see the future she must have known that lucien build the spire, she didn't even have to kill lucien, she could have saved his wife and daughter, preventing it that way? She wanted that spire and her motive is unknown,

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

It's possible she wanted it, it's unlikely she could have saved his family, or maybe she knew she could do little to stop it's construction and wanted to make sure it was put into hands that would not abuse the power.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

Stopping it it from being build and it wouldn't be in any hands. She wants something from that spire.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

Again, she probably could not stop the construction in time, she is just an old women and at the time the only hero was a young child or Rose who was only a preteen girl.
Her wanting something from it is merely speculation right now, it may be necessary for something in the future, maybe to save Albion.

She wanted someone from her own bloodline, she could have used the Heroes father or his grandfather, they would have been around to either save Luciens family or kill him.

She wanted to save Albion from the spire, what does the spire do anyway? See the future? it's not like she already knew how to do that, wait... she does :P

Come on, when the hero kills lucien she orders him out, she would probably have killed him if he didn't. Does Luciens henchmen work for her now?

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

The spire is a focal point for all Will in Albion, it can do anything really.
She's already stated that the hero's child will be a savior some point in the future, if she wanted to use the spire she could easily use it then and be done with any real threat.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

So what you're saying is that the old lady that sees the future has all the will in the world and is using it for unknown purposes that she won't tell us about?

How can she not be the a villian?

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

So following your logic, anyone with a gun is a bad guy, and anyone who has power is evil, gotcha, guess the Hero of Bowerstone is 100% evil then.
This is why I call Theresa neutral, she's never done anything good, or evil, and no, taking control of the spire and doing nothing with it is not evil at all.

Following my logic anyone with control over all of the will in Albion but won't tell anyone what they're using it for is probably a bad guy. I don't think Theresa is a villian like Jack or Lucien, I think she's the kind that is willing to sacrifice a few lives in order to save thousands.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

And that is not a villain, that is being neutral.
Just because you have control does not make you evil, as I must explain again.
As it stands in Fable 2 she has done nothing evil, or anything to let on she is evil, or anything to let on she is good either.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

She has done nothing evil..... That we know of

Neutral doesn't mean not sharing your secrets with others, it means not picking sides. As far as I know she picked sides.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

She did not pick any side other than the hero's.
Neutral means not being good or evil, and sharing secrets? Not many do, hence called secrets.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

She picked the hero, the hero stopped Lucien from using the spire, I consider that good.

Re: Jack of Blades Return Possible For Fable 3?

According to the context in-game, the hero did not kill the guildmaster to sacrifice his soul (he did it because he was annoying as a gopher in your living room). The Hero DID in fact wear the mask according to the people. When the children are playing, you can hear one say a few words about the hero putting on the mask. It's possible that Jack returned but highly unlikely. If the mask took another host, he would've revealed himself in that 300-500 year span between Fable and Fable 2.:ninja:

EDIT: Theresa is in fact the Hero of Oakvale's sister from Fable. If you read some of the info on scattered sites it is thoroughly shown that she is an immortal. She is most likely neutral due to her training and raising in the Bandit Camp.

That was just an Easter egg.. This has been explained a million times before.

What people? I've never heard anyone say that anywhere in game.

Yeah but the question is how she got her immortallity, we all know how Reaver got it and maintains it.
