Limit image size in sigs

Seriously. I'm tired of seeing these giant ass pics in sigs that are in every post and make a thread 100% bigger because of it. It's annoying.

I beg you. Plead. Can we please put a limit on these things?

In theory there is a limit and if we witness any oversized ones we remove or resize them. Are there any you are finding particularly troublesome?

Anyone whose signature exceeds 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels in length. Either or, which ever comes first. THOSE bother me.

We shall look into this as im no fan of large size images either and remove the huge ones i see.

I disagree. If a signature is big or huge, you can put it in a spoiler tag. That will save some space.

Most forums set the size of my sig as the limit 450x150

I usually go around 6oo pixels, and I think anything bigger is too big.

One of the images in my sig was removed, Was it because of the size or the dead Republican Elephants in the background? If anyone knows...:ninja:

Its not the size that matters, its how you use it!

...

If you're having doubts, try loading up a 1024x768 blank document in Paint or something and see how the sig image compares, seeing how 1024x768 is the average monitor size.

As my own personal rule I say that on this site your sig should not strech the page and should be no taller than the left side of you post with your avatar, info, and gamercard. so if you were to make a post that was one line it is not bigger than all your info. even then one single image that large is annoying.
