In the Final part of Microsoft's press conference Peter Molyneux revealed there Game Milo which uses the new "Natal" gaming interface.

Here is an article on it but you really need to see this one I'll keep searching for a easy to access video clip.
In the mean while just find a good stream of the press conference. This one will be up again shortly.

Showcasing the capabilities of the new Xbox 360 Project Natal camera controller, which includes voice and motion-recognition capabilities, Fable 2 developer Lionhead Studios showed a video demonstrating a virtual child called Milo.

Able to recognize facial expressions and vocal emotions, Milo chatted with real-life demonstrator Claire in a prepared video. Milo also threw her a pair of googles (which she automatically grabbed for and then "put on"). Later, Milo grabbed a piece of paper that Claire held in front of the camera for a mere instant.

Another aspect saw Claire splashing around virtual water in real-time.
Studio founder Peter Molyneux boasted that these were concepts that even science fiction writers haven't been able to dream up, and that the technology is here, now.

That software will be shown behind closed doors this week.

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

The Games they come up with will be key for sure. They need some really creative people to jump in and start working on it. I of course want an RPG :D

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

Peter Molyneux is a good choice if you want creativity :P I'm hoping for an rpg too, although I'm sure anything they do make will be awesome.

HOLY JESUS! THIS SOUNDS AWESOME!
An RPG would be awesome, but I would love to see what they could do with an FPS. ^_^

Milo scares me too.

Not 100% convinced. Need more proof as things like that always need highly sophisticated AI to get involved, otherwise the whole thing was scripted beforehand. But right now, that demo definitely shows a potential super cool interface.

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

Bah, I don't want no virtual kid, I want Fable

Hm, really? +rep Will have to watch again.
To me this will be the ending of WII. The whole idea of a motion sensor, that scans us, and our things, totally freaks me out. I would rather use a controller.
If I wanted a WII, I would have bought one.

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

Yeah it might not be the end all be all of interactions but I think it will still be cool. Take Natal and add in the no funny glasses 3DTV technology and we will be getting very close to to a holodec in less than three years time!!!

It's amazing how fast technology is moving. You just might be right.:O

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

Something as technical as that is bound to be glitchy.

Re: Lionhead Reveals Milo!

From watching the painter dude, it seemed like it caught every little movement he made.
Turning his head to the left or right, waving his arms, rocking his body back and forth.
At first I thought it would just be like that camera game thing for the PS2, but
this is amazing and it opens up so many new possibilities!!!!

Right now the only thing I'm scared about is the price of this.:(
