Low-Lights?

Well, I was talking to my girlfriend and she said I should get lowlights...
And now I need to decide on a colour.
My girlfriend thought I should get either really, REALLY dark blue, or purple.

What do you guys think?

What does your hair look like at present?
A picture would be most helpful so I could give you the best answer but I suppose if you're camera shy just answer me the following:
What is your natural hair color?
What is your hair cut like?
What is your skin tone?
If you wear glasses, what shape are the frames?

Oh, I've got a picture somewhere here...
I'm asian, so skin tone is kind of tan-ish.
I have long hair, covers face.
Black hair.
No Glasses.

Alright then, I'm going to have to suggest that you go for a cooler color to get a nice contrast to your features. A dark blue frayed looked on the tips of your hair could look very interesting. I wouldn't suggest going for an all over "streaked" look, that might be a bit too feminine for your face shape and haircut.

Frayed is just like uneven and choppy so it looks a little messy and not like a random stripe at the base of your hair.

:lol: Neither do I, but I think it is because girls don't find guys with longer hair than them very attractive. Especially when they are 6'3". Oh well.

Oh The Chicks love me, I have to fight them off with a Baseball bat constantly, It gets quite irritating after awhile.

Haha 6'3 Im only like.. 5'9-10.. I think? well in cm's I am.. 170cm Maybe? Or more.. not too sure, Im short!
