Marvel or DC a heros choice?

Alright hero. Tell us which Brand you prefer and which character is your favorite. My favorite is Marvels Ghost Rider but there are many others that come close 2 ND. My runner ups are Spiderman, venom, magneto, Cable, Deadpool, Wolverine, Daredevil, Thanos just to name a few that are close seconds. If you don't like either and want to say Archies digest we would sure love to hear. Marvel-1, Dc-0. Other-0 so far marvels got it.

DC has Batman and thats about it :/

Deadpool>Batman>Ironman>Wolverine>Gambit>Spiderman
 
Marvel-2, DC-0, OTHER brands-0. What number should be the number to quit at? Maybe the 1st brand to 25 is the best brand and i will go through all of everyones favorite characters and list the character that got the most favorite post.
 
i dont think alot of ppl here read comic books :P
 
I -love- comic books. I've got a HUGE collection. Mostly Marvel, Wildstorm, Image, and Top Cow comics.

Marvel over DC any day.
 
Maybe not but it will be interesting to see who does and i am most definate marvel will get it. I currently have around 10000 comics that range from 5 cent covers to $30 covers and guess what. My 5 cents comics are worth more. Oh how could i have forgotten about the tick they did a small run of comics back in the 90's of him but i loved the cartoon better:)

I'd say Marvel, but DC has Phantom Stranger.
 
Marvel has aged the best and have got the coolest Heroes such as Mighty Thor and The Hulk. I'd say they are superiour. But you just can't beat DC from the Golden Age of Comics back in the 30's-50's.

That was some corny, but good sh*t.
 
I'm not big on comic books, but Marvel's better. Spider-man is probably my favorite comic book hero, and Venom is my favorite comic book villain.

i have to give it to DC for the Joker, he is my fav villan i love Mark Hamill
 
The Batman franchise is amazing. However, most of Marvel's franchises are so they kinda win when you look at the big picture.
 
My first comic book was a 1957 andy pandy and after that i got hooked on batman and i have tons of the old batmans, but for the read i prefer marvel. There are tons of characters more than dc. I did like dc comics lobo. He looked cool but nothing compares to the astonishing XMEN reads. Fantastic four, Spiderman or the X force. Dc can't never ever get on there level:)

DC also has Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern.

But Marvel has X-men, so therefore: Mervel > DC
 
to me wolverine was always the best marvel hero, i thought. he was enough of an unstoppable warpath that i enjoyed it, but it just made it all the more surprising when he was stopped somehow.

DC has batman... he was always my favorite. unlike wolverine, he could scare most of his opponents off just by revealing himself and glaring at them... yeah, i like the darker and angrier heroes.

overall though, marvel takes the cake. spiderman has to be the best overall hero to date. the most dimension and humanity of any superhero to date. though i love wolverine, i acknowledge spidey as #1.
i may love Radiohead, but i would never dispute the beatles.
