Message to xbox 360 slim users

I just saw a review of the xbox 360 slim. But guess what? The first xbox 360's hard drive isnt compatible with the slim. So, if you want to get fable 3 and try to convert your saves from fable 2, you might be out of luck. But the saves probably wont be that effective anyway ^_^

But cant you use the xbox memory unit to get your save file from the big 360 and ten transport it to the slim?

Slim owners will be fine, they'll just need the HDD transfer cable which is already available in stores for cheap, $15-20.

Re: Message to xbox 360 slim users

And Microsoft has already confirmed you can use a USB stick to transfer stuff.

Re: Message to xbox 360 slim users

Exxxxactly.

Re: Message to xbox 360 slim users

Last update introduced compatibility with usb external hardrives and memory sticks =) so no issue anymore =) i have used this method myself to transfer saves and profiles to a larger hdd

Whats does that do?

Plug your old HDD into the transfer unit, then plug it's USB into the new Xbox 360 and you just transfer your old data over. Simple.
