MW2 Insane Edition Includes Genuine Land Mine (Batteries Not Included)

If you thought they weren't milking the release of the Modern Warfare 2 release enough, think again folks.

As well as being able to buy the new Limited Edition console, the Hardened Edition, the Prestige Edition, gamers can now pick up the new "Veteran Edition" from participating retailers.

The Veteran Edition - which is a GAME exclusive in the UK - will set you back around £120 and will feature the Hardened Edition as well as a 12" Soap MacTavish premium statue.

Sounds a wee bit expensive for a statue, right? Hey, who am I to judge? Coming next week, the Modern Warfare 2 Insane Edition that will feature Modern Warfare 2, a 60 ft inflatable Soap MacTavish "collector's item" and a genuine land mine. Only £500.

The Modern Warfare 2 Veteran Edition retails for £119.99 and will include:

• Unique Gift Box Packaging.
• "Captain Soap MacTavish" ultra-premium ARTFX Statue sculpted by Kotobukiya.
• 1/6-scale, 12" tall if standing upright.
• Depicts Modern Warfare veteran Cpt. "Soap" MacTavish of Task Force 141, equipped with custom snow camouflage and weaponry as seen in "Cliffhanger" mission from Modern Warfare 2.
• 3 sets of interchangeable weapons and arms, including: Dual ice-climbing pickaxes (pictured) Dual .45 caliber pistols, M14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (affixes to Soap's back when not in use).

It is getting gay, you want a land mine? The army surplus at the flea market (No joke) has a real land mine, and grenades and even a disabled RPG launcher that comes with 3 RPG projectile cases. People are stupid, who would pay 500 on a game that is only worth 60, so that they can get a blow up doll and a 30 dollar land mine.

I'm pretty sure that the land mine and Insane Edition thing was a joke, poking fun at Infinity Ward releasing greater and greater, money grabbier and money grabbier editions of the game.

It is getting gay, you want a land mine? The army surplus at the flea market (No joke) has a real land mine, and grenades and even a disabled RPG launcher that comes with 3 RPG projectile cases.
