~Become a disciple~ When you make a contribution (either to Skorm or Avo) you should become an actuall member of that church. They should contact you to perform tasks or go on quests (like what was said in the first post). When you do a certain number of things, you could rise through the ranks of the church. Maybe, when you reach a certain level, you get guidance from the actuall God rather then their followers.
~Cults~ There might be other gods... we don't really know much about Albions' religion. Maybe there are different gods and goddesses? Or elements? We've seen that different creatures have different religions (Hobbs and Minions at least). It would be cool to have run-in's with the cults of other's, maybe make allies or enemies..... Basically, you should be able to either combine religions (allies) or start a Holy War :cough:: enemies)
~Kids~ I like the idea mentioned in the first post, that you should be able to train your children and eventually have them join you. This is plausable seeing as we alredy know that wheather you're good or evil, your kids are the same.
~Castles~ We know you can own a caslte in Fable 2. It would be really cool, if you could choose how that castle looks. Choose your furnature, maybe be able to interact with objects (i.e. SIT in the chair, LAY in the bed, etc) and have other things you can interact with. And you should be able to add on to your home (be it a hobo house or a caslte), make different rooms, or just add completely random stuff that serves no other purpouse than to amuse you. ^_^
~Sex~ I know they're getting rid of the cut senes, but I really hope they at least let you be able to skip the sex. I didn't like listening to it in Fable and TLC and I certainly don't want to watch it, I don't care if they're video game charcters with blurs or pixles or whatever.
~Conversations~ The poor hero in Fable never gets a word in edgewise! Since there won't be cut senes, then we should be able to have input in the conversations. Especially if they have something to do with the plot. And if there is Co-op play, you should be able to comunicate in the game, give orders, or just make suggestions.
~Stealth~ If you're a theaf or assasin, you should be sneeky, right? Instead of just busting down someones door and setting off an alarm that by all rights should not even exist in such a setting, you should be able to climb in through the window, or slide down the chimney.
~More complex relationships~ Instead of everyone being two dementional (hating you or loving you) you should be able to develop freindships. That is, non-romantic, just buddy buddy kind of freindships. Also, you should be able to make personal enemies. Maybe you pick a fight with the wrong guy, later on he just may kidnap your wife and kids, or he tries to kill you in your sleep. In other words, they're calling this game an RPG, it should BE an RPG.
Okay.... I'm done ^_^; sorry, that was really long winded. I promise I'll get a life... after Fable 2 comes out... heh heh.

Interesting thought If you can have a job why not priesthood or an acolyteKeelee.Hamomin;50061 said:Quick trip back to the topic..... ^_^;

Maybe they become a part of what Peter calls "The Magnificent Seven"Keelee.Hamomin;50061 said:~Kids~ I like the idea mentioned in the first post, that you should be able to train your children and eventually have them join you. I like the idea of interacting with the objects more Like the video I saw of "The Room" But I don't want to choose furniture. Not "Epic Hero" enough for meKeelee.Hamomin;50061 said:~Castles~ We know you can own a caslte in Fable 2. It would be really cool, if you could choose how that castle looks. The sex scenes definitely weren't a thrill by any stretch of the imagination but in some way it represents the height of the relationship. I wonder what you would put in its place. You were able to skip it as I recallKeelee.Hamomin;50061 said:~Sex~ I know they're getting rid of the cut senes, but I really hope they at least let you be able to skip the sex. Maybe a more extensive list of expressions but I don't want to have dialog choices. I thought it was funny when you would go up to a girl and try to pick out the right expression to use and before you could she would walk away or you would inadvertently(or intentionally) use a vulgar expression. This has been mentioned before but this time it got me thinking. I know, I know you told me not to do that anymore. But The Hero in fable was always a blend of all the Character Classes:Keelee.Hamomin;50061 said:~Stealth~ If you're a theaf or assasin, you should be sneeky, right? Very cool idea. In the Fable and TLC you would have some camaraderie with other characters during a quest but they would go flat again afterwords. I think that we'll get are wish on this one.
Hexadecimal;50099 said:umm... I'm a bit confused... you say that you don't want dialogue choices, but you want to be able to develop relationships with other characters... how would that be accomplished exactly then?

Maybe I don't get what you're saying here
Maybe a more extensive list of expressions but I don't want to have dialog choices.
Keelee.Hamomin;50122 said:Wow..... you pay attention... Thank you! ^_^
The Hobb and Minion religions were really implied rather than out right stated. If you paid good attention to what was in the Hobb cave, you could see what appeared to be sacrifical stages, kind of like the Miyan (sp?) pyramids only really small. Ritual sacrifice suggests some sort of belief system. And there is a mission you go on with Briar Rose to stop Minions from reserecting/summoning some sort of thing I assumed to be a religious figure (like a priest....?). Of course I could be way off, and if I miss inturpreted something, do let me know..... but, yeah that's what I ment by that.
Interesting point if its not a cut scene how can you skip it. and will that mean that you will be performing the act?? That might be pushing the envelope a bit on taste.Keelee.Hamomin;50122 said:As for the sex thing, I simply was saying I hope that you still have the option in Fable 2 to skip the sex scenes.
I thought that too but then I thought by not having much of a voice of his own it was easier to insert my own personality using my imagination. Maybe thats just rationalization. I'm good at thatKeelee.Hamomin;50122 said:And my main hope for the dialog was that your character would be able to have more interesting actions/reactions and that they would actually talk. I mean, aside from a few small comments, the original hero was just this side of mute. I found it annoying that the main character could be so two dementional when it came to reacting to people or situations.
Albion Knight;50119 said:I think having the gave stop while I read through line after line of possible precanned responses would be lousy. Works for some games but not Fable.
Dark Drakan;50242 said:I think dialog choices work excellently in RPG's also adds to your character and makes your character feel more how you want it to because you get to choose your own responses instead of having preset ones where you are left thinking 'Im evil i didnt want to say that' etc Also helps everyones games be more unique and also if different things happened depending on what your dialog choice was then adds to re playability (KOTOR style).
Darg;50245 said:Amen to that. It's fun and all, interacting with the general public by doing air guitar or farting on them, but it'd be more in depth and interesting to have dialogue choices.
