In a fight, no question. But out of sheer coolness, pirates. Jack Sparrow is a pirate, he's cooler than any ninja.

I do have to say rogue which I cry because no one has chosen other than me :'( because they are nin-irates: they have great stealth and stealing skills but with the lowlife additude and look of a pirate.

Well I am basing my judgement off what I saw growing up. When I was a kid there were many ninja movies featuring Sho Kasugi, and others. I thought ninjas were pretty damn cool. As far as pirates went they were always in musical numbers like pirates of penzance, so I saw a lot of dancing singing pirates. Not quite so cool. So I had to go with Ninjas.

Times change of course and it may not be that way now, but I went with ninjas anyway.
