Opinions?

Re: Opinions?

His opinion is his opinion, your opinion is yours, none of them are wrong, none of them are right. It doesn't matter how popular the music is. I personally think music w3ith any digital uninstrumental sound, with the exception of a few metal songs, is for fags. These include:

HipHop
Rap
Alot of newer rock/metal
Alot of everything else.:P

I hate all the excessive fake noises, it's too annoying it hurts my brain.:P

But then I only like blues, rock, and metal, and not a large quantity of blues or rock either.

And I hate all the new rock, it's terrible even the new metallica sounds bad to me.

Re: Opinions?

Hip hop and rap are too blame for the lack of intelligence and reason. I have too disagree metal is too fast, it entirely depends, like Death Metal; love it, but I can only take a few songs before it is boring, I normally hit the goth/doom and folk metal scenes. They are much slowert and more enjoyable.

Agh, I hate new Metallica also. I wish I was born in a different generation, so I wouldn't have to listen to "gangsters" talking about how cool skinny jeans and jerking is.

On further note of my topic though, I think I might get a Marshall Mini Stack. You know, the 4 inch one. I've always wanted an amp that I can carry around with me, on my belt...

Re: Opinions?

I don't recommend that amp, they sound terrible, and have almost no distortion.

The vox amplug series are great small amps, if you don't mind headphones. They really sound surprisingly good for what I expected.:D

I want emgs now..

Oh yeah it's a little late but by custom pickups I meant pickups I had a guy make me. I told him to make the most powerful passives possible. He was a close friend, so he gave me a deal, I only paid 200. A lot of my gear is his old stuff that he wanted to get rid of, except for the wah, and my guitar, and one of my cords.

And I just found this, I recommend these together over any other small amp, I've tried the second part through headphones, it's amazing.

Ooh. I'd want to get a Marshall Stack, but they are waaay too expensive.

Wait, your amp is a tube, isn't it? What tubes do you use in it? I have to buy some high gain tubes soon, and I have no idea what to pick.

Nah, I can't afford a tube half stack yet, and that wasn't a marshall stack, that was a half stack with great distortion and sound that can clip to your belt, and if you get a Marshall, you must have a distortion pedal if you play metal. no Marshall amp has high enough distortion for anything much heavier than ac/dc. That is the only region they suck in, distortion.

BTW, do you like ac/dc at all arseface? That was my favorite band about 1 and 1/2 years ago.

What about the Safety Dance? That's a pretty hardcore song.

I've always said I should have been born in the forties. Been a war baby, yeah.

AC/DC are pretty great. Simple and repetetive, but they make up for that by having good riffs and lyrics. Also by being Australian.

There are plenty of better bands, though.

Re: Opinions?

That doesn't mean the music is bad. The majority of the worlds popular music is simple and shallow. The blues, which is the father of almost all modern music is only ever comprised of three chords, and is always about the same thing.

Didn't say that.

Yeah, what's your point?

Blues is composed mainly for the meaning of the lyrics anyway, I understand that. But this whole overrated AC/DC BEST BAND EVER facade is a bit of a joke. They're not a bad band, they're just not an amazing one.

Re: Opinions?

I would have to agree to the multi effects board thing. I got one, threw away the box with the instructions in it because I thought, "how hard can it be?" Not long after I was scouring the internet for a PDF of the instructions because I had made it unusable.
