Hurraw!

(PS: I'm hoping all of you aren't as right-biased as the last board I was on...)

Another right-wing religious nutcase taken down from a position of power. Huzzah.

But then there is the chance she will run for prez. Ick. I hope Obama will run again to ward her away.

(No, I'm not spreading a partisan message, I want people to think for themselves, know what they're talking about, and not just attack a particular party because it's the cool thing to do right now.)Neither is Palin? Unless you were trying to get something else across, in which case I don't see it.

I think it's unfortunate that Palin is stepping down. The reason for it is that her family can't afford to fend off the mass media attacks and accusations (like the "Troopergate" thing), not just financially (and it is expensive to defend yourself in court), but emotionally and all that stuff. To turn on the television and constantly see your family being attacked by partisan media would be tremendously taxing, these things people have said about her daughters, her husband, her son, she certainly took it better than I could have, I'd have shot a few people by now, and have freshly stuffed polar bear statue delivered to the PETA HQ with a friendly note attached.
And there is the fact that she is against abortion, even in the case of teh rape.

What I don't understand is why she ran in the first place? She really has a dysfunctional family life. She was doomed from the beginning.

Not calling him an idiot because he's black is just as racist as calling him and idiot because he's black. Read this carefully, I don't want a lot of people to misunderstand me here.Everything else aside, the lesser of two idiots is still an idiot.

True that. Although Palin takes the cake.

And on topic: It's sort of ironic that when McCain announced he was running with Palin, we fell into a recession. :(

It's not racist.

It's a fact that Obama truly is an idiot. + nobody reply saying something ridiculous like "he went to harvard", that doesn't prove anything. The fact he says he's going to get us out of this "economic crisis", and then goes out and throws millions and billions of dollars at every problem he sees says enough.
Congress and Obama built a 6 million dollar turtle tunnel, so that turtles can cross the highway without getting run-over. Six million dollars to save turtles from one highway! "Hope and Change", I'll keep my freedoms, and my guns, you can keep the change. Freak.

I think she's bat**** insane. I don't think she's an idiot though.I don't see the connection, and the recession was known about before the election season, so...
