DarkenedSoul;341390 said:What JohnDoe said. Communication doesn't only go one way.
cheezMcNASTY;341400 said:u were well within ur rights to react the way you did, and to whoever it was who said they would call a child abuse hotline.......don't you think it would be more reasonable to do it because his dad hit him and not because he lost his xbox???
my mom used to work as a child therapist for the state of Oregon, physical abuse is more than enough to request legal counseling. then again, this sounds like something that doesn't happen regularly so it is probably for the best to just avoid all of the trouble.

Arseface;341697 said:I have been playing it an abnormally large amount of the time, but it's all I've got since he took away my computer!
hobbes_pwn;341699 said:Thats was aimed at Dr Doom, but yeh find more hobbies. Thats all do you like music? movies?
Well unfortunately, I don't live with him. It's very difficult to make judgements based on hear-say from one person.Arseface;341694 said:Yeah, but there's no getting through to him. He's to arrogant for that.
Arseface;341701 said:I enjoy music a lot (want to make a career out of it) but I'm avoiding it at the moment, because if I start playing, I'll have to play my school pieces, which I don't want to do.
I know... Suck it up.
hobbes_pwn;341711 said:Alot of record companies don't just hire singers and bands, there is alot of variety... Also I always dreamed of being a band manager. Organising gigs, photoshoots etc.
But i was also thinking for now look into local bands, and support them. It'll give you something to do.
The following genres are big in the underground scene:
Metal
Hardcore
Punk
Indie Rock
Rock (often they aint aiming to stay underground.)
Rap
Horrorcore/ Wicked ****/ Death Rap (Correct me which one it is.. It's the genre of Necro and Insane Clown Posse)
Techno (often amatuer though.. Sorry but i would never expect much, but guys that sit in their basement, mucking on the computer)
I llove Hardcore. But a mate of mine in America loves Horrorcore. Some states will have certain genres other won't.
Arseface, if you live in Melbourne i can help you out big time, i'm kind of rusty with other parts of the world.

Try Agalloch, Dream Theater, and Opeth for progressive metal. Dragonforce are power metal.

Tiamatria;341910 said:I did mention Dream Theater. Dragonforce supposedly sits between power and prog metal. Remember, I got that fact off the internet. x]
Firis;341916 said:Okay you want Hard Rock? Otep, Deathstars, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Judas Priest, H.I.M, Cobreed and Cambria. Want Metal? Meshuggah, Behemoth, Bring me the Horizon, The Agonist and Underoath.

This isn't much compared to a back hand across my head but if my mother asked me to wash the dishes instead of telling me, I'd do them straight away or in the next few minutes. The fact that she tells me to do them, I don't. She does it a lot. So I see where you're coming from. I suppose communication could work... But it's if he'll listen.
Just out of curiosity, how old are you?
JohnDoe;341927 said:I totally see how that's relevant to topic.
@ArseFace - Update?
