Re: Rah!
The next notebook I get will be a Macbook Pro. I'm itching for my current Dell Inspiron to die just to give me an excuse to shell out for a MacBook. I'm not super thrilled about the insane MacBook Pro prices, but provided it does what I need, it's secure, and speedy then that's good enough for me.
One thing, however, that bugs me about Apple's marketing schemes is just how openly they tend to bash Windows. I mean - daaa-yum. I've checked out Apple's WWDC vids on YouTube and don't get me wrong, Mac OSX Tiger, Leopard and now Snow Leopard look awesome, but it seems that Apple's main marketing strategy is to just bash the hell out of Microsoft - Windows 7 looks amazing as well by the way - and I swear all the toffs in the audience applaud like crazy and totally eat up all the junk that the Apple representatives spout out.
I just find it uncomfortable to watch sometimes - it seems wholly unprofessional. But I'm not a billion-squillion-gajillion dollar company so I might as well keep it clamped.
Maybe Santa might bring me a nice Windows 7 gaming rig and a fancy Macbook Pro for website stuff.
