Rantomatic 2.0

Gosh darn it, so my dad is taking the religious switch badly, though he is majoritorily trying to ignore it; to best respect my beliefs, cause it would bother him so. But he doesn't like it... Which sucks now because once or twice a week he will subtley bring it up in one way or another.

Also I found out yesterday that the girl that I am either: A. In love with or B. Just have a HUUUUUUUGE crush on for the past three years. Has a crush on the brother of an ex-freind whom now dislikes me... Very irking.

Also, I rented the new Halloween, and just like all the other movies: Once pops found out it was a RZ movie he returned it that day, didn't even let us watch it, just like he wouldn't let us watch "The Passion" (Which we watched at grandmas XD)

My friend just got disowned by his mother... In the precise wording she told him yesterday "I am done with you." and hung up and would not answer his call back. They had been divorced and the dad had majorital custody.

Jean Claude Van Damme came out with a biography movie that I did not know about (Irk)

And Irk Irk **** GAH!!!!!!!!

Re: Rantomatic 2.0

"Switching which religions?" Tyloric asked somberly.

Re: Rantomatic 2.0

That really sucks. Religious Switching? About you not being a christian? It's your choice. He should deal with it.

Re: Rantomatic 2.0

I would think he brings it because he cares about his sons everlasting soul. If he still lives with his dad he can expect to hear about it until he moves out on his own, and then for a while after. Eventually, once Firis is on his own, his dad may stop bothering him about it. If his dad is a religious man he will always worry though, even if he no longer talks about it.

After my uncle died my grandfather and grandmother got really religous, the only person blood releated to them in the will is my aunt, they disowned all the other kids. Pretending to be a christian for a while so they think you're not "lost" might be a good idea.

I myself is not a member of any church nor paying church taxes so officially I'm not a christian either, my grand parents think that I am and that works out just fine.

Argueing with your dad won't help, he's your father and will always think that he is smarter than you.

Re: Rantomatic 2.0

What religion were you/are you switching too? Me, I'm Agnostic, and my mom is all hardcore Christian, and we still get along fine in terms of son/mother.

Good luck with the girl, those creatures are strange, hard to read, even harder to predict...

Sucks about your friend too, odd she would just randomly say that to her son.

Mothers are different, you don't go all your life seeking their accept the same way you do with your dad, and mothers usually shuts up with their Jesus babble when you tell them to.

You should have taken a towel and ran in there snapping it at them. Then ran for the hills.

Would you do that to your sister?

I asked first... *mumble*

And I, being the nice guy that I am, linked you to the thread in which Firis announced his new found spiritual standing. So no need to get huffy. In fact, I have the right to get huffy, since you ignored my post, so *huff*.

No thank you, its more than enough hearing them without actually seeing them.
