An extended Vulgar thrust expression works. Give them some honey scented flowers and a bar of mudbrick chocolate and take them to the Cow and Corset and have the bard sing of your heroic deeds.
Large donations of cash works too.

That is up to you. Write a guide or something. The whole point is to show your worth to the forum. The longer you are here and help people, the more you get, and the more respected you are. There is many ways. Be very funny, or just something.

But when you are the only one who is annoyed by this, it makes it hard to agree with one person over many. And yes, repping people is overused, but usually one man armies don't really work too well. So, unless Steve finds this unnecessary, it is looking like it is going to happen.
