Re: Reputation

Well, maybe someone checked out something you posted a while back, and decided it was cool, and thus gave you rep. Just click ''Options'', and you see the latest rep you received. So, go ahead, and find out who gave you rep, on what post, and maybe even why!

Re: Reputation

How much (numerically) does it go up with each...one? Because it just went up from 112 to 148!

Re: Reputation

In one time? You're sure? You checked the rep section, clicking the button ''Options''? It would be a lot.

Each person has different rep power, it depends on the amount of rep you have.

Re: Reputation

Not a paradox. Where's the contradiction? Paradox would be something like the saying "if you want peace, prepare for war," or "if you want rep, be an asshole."

I don't think that giving people rep for talking about rep is anything at all. Mildly amusing, perhaps.

Re: Reputation

It was me. I remember repping you because I remember laughing at a funny comment you had.

EDIT: I repped you for this.

All I ever am is an asshole and I seem to get plenty of rep.

Re: Reputation

people here love members who can pwn consistantly without having worry of feelings. i think it's safe to say that you two (JD and DS) have had the most success in that department.

I think it's the forum equivalent of bear-baiting.

Re: Reputation

Rep is a lot easier to get in this day and age.

Back in my day, we had to actually work to get rep. We couldn't afford shoes, so we went barefoot.

In the winter we had to wrap our feet with barbed wire for traction.

Nope, no rep for you. But very funny, I assure you.

And it depends on the definition. In literary terms, a paradox is something that at first seems contradictory, but then reveals truth. But there are other definitions. By the literary version they're both paradoxes.

You are pretty frequently an asshole, yet you have a good deal of rep.

EDIT: Scratch that. You don't have all that much. But I recently got a lot more, so that's a better one. I'm an asshole, yet I have a lot of rep.

EDIT2: Also, I go back to classes on Monday. That's my excuse. I'm practicing my English-major-ness.
