I think all these games will have to compete with Vindictus.

Not really. Vindictus is an Action MMORPG, which I'm not fond of. I played Vindictus for about a month and never touched it again. I just don't like Action MMORPG's. I prefer traditional style MMORPG's.

When it comes to RPGs, the deeper and more complex the better. Action RPGs then to be, surprise surprise, "dumber" and more focused on the actual action. There are exceptions I like like Diablo and Torchlight, but generally whenever I play one I wish I was more "in control" of everything.

So, I've been playing more rift, adjusting to the art style, getting used to the game and whatnot and... I honestly love it now. If I had 50 bucks I would buy the game in a heartbeat.

That's how I felt upon first playing it. I just played it casually, then I started getting really into it the higher I leveled. It is a great game, again, ESPECIALLY if you want to get away from other MMORPG's you've been playing for a while.

Vindictus, best combat/graphics in any MMO i've seen so far... what else? the combat gets boring, the visuals are re-used for boats, instanced stages

its a good game, for the first week u will think its the best..
then it slowly gets tedious and starts to feel like a chore until u do what i do.

( keep playing till they rendered Proxifier useless so now i cant play haha thank u nexon


But all in all, its probally the best F2P MMO that i've seen so far, and its still a really good game.

The visuals are re used for boat? xD What kind of complaint is that? The boats all launch from the same port.

Also, Nexon doesn't develop the game. They publish.

OMFG no...I'm not doing it. I've spent over 300 dollars on addons and other stuff to City of Villains, All MMO'S no matter what they are, are a waste of Time and money. And the only one I'm WILLING to waste time on is City of Villains, I like Villainy, and comic book style better than rift.

My friend told me the stole the idea from some book. He could be wrong, but I'm not doing it. Some day..MAYBE..only if white howler pays for it, but I've neither the time, NOR the money to waste my time on ANOTHER MMO game that goes no where. Plus I doubt my computer could run it.

I doubt that they stole the idea from a book. Rift used to be a Table-Top RPG like Dungeons and Dragons, it just didn't get as popular. I remember seeing people play it when I was a kid. So it was well over 20 years ago.
