[RUMOUR] Arcade Xbox Slim?

Gaming news website Kotaku shares some info they discovered through a Microsoft Question and Answer session:

Ask the right questions, get the right answers. An internal marketing Q&A for Microsoft about confirm that Kinect will be bundled with consoles, and a $199 configuration of its new Xbox 360 will be available this fall.
An Arcade version of the new black Xbox 360 was also alluded to, although, read verbatim, the Microsoft document says simply:

Q: Will you sell a $199 version of the new Xbox 360?
A: We will offer a $199 Xbox 360 this fall.

There were no further details about this console's features, such as hard drive/onboard storage (if any) or WiFi, which is 250GB and internal, respectively, on the new Slim design. A $199 model would probably lack both. The current Arcade layout supports HDMI output so that would probably carry over, at least.

Other wesbites such as PCWorld are also questioning it, so if you think you want the new 'Slim' 360 but an arcade version, you might wanna wait until Microsoft can confirm or deny this.

The original Xbox 360 S is $299.99, so you'd be knocking off $100 for the 'Arcade' model. Also, I doubt it would lack important features, but it would probably without the 250gb hard drive.

Microsoft probably did this to allow more 'casual gamers' to enjoy Kinect without shelling out for the whole package.

Spoiled child. Back in the day, no game system had a hard drive. All we needed was a memory card; which is how arcade game systems work.

Need a hard drive... please. >_>

Seems obvious that it's an Arcade 360 Slim, they already confirmed that they will no longer be manufacturing the original 360 models.

Put two and two together.

The Arcade models have a built-in memory unit providing more than enough for game saves, but nowhere near enough to go crazy with for demos, music, etc.

I think I'll be getting the Xbox 360 Slim, maybe. If it means no RROD.
