Saw some movies

Oi, I saw a couple of movies in the theater today. A friend of mine and I bought tickets to one and movie hopped to two more, so we got three for the price of one. Admittedly it was a little difficult sitting through the third one because we had just sat through two others, but it wasn't too bad. First, I saw Kick-Ass and I F*CKIN' LOVED IT! If you haven't seen this movie, get your ass to the theater. Next, I saw How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. Tyloric was right about this movie. It was awesome. Not as good as Kick-Ass, but still pretty cool. Finally, I saw Clash of the Titans in 3D. I didn't actually expect this to be a legitimately good movie, and it wasn't, but I didn't care. I had already seen two good movies, so I was satisfied. The 3D, special effects, and action scenes kept me entertained, so I'm glad I saw it.

For those of you who have seen any of these movies, what did you think? And for those that haven't, are you going to see any of 'em?

Re: Saw some movies

I really wanna see Kick Ass, not so much Clash Of The Titans. Might make a cinema trip tomorrow.

Re: Saw some movies

i go like every weekend wit my friends but they think that Kick-Ass looks stupid so they dont wanna see it :(

Re: Saw some movies

kickass: i can't imagine it being any good. i hear it is from people, but it just looks ****ing retarded. plus it has nick cage in it who is (next to keanu reeves) one of the worst actors today.
unless it wins an oscar or something i'm planning on passing it by.

dragon: was very fun. not the best animated film from dreamworks, but i really liked it. that's a statement i don't give to very many movies.

clash of the titans: what do you expect? they rip off a greek myth, put Liam Neeson in it with several millions of dollars-worth of special effects, and hope to make a quick buck off of it. even if it wins an oscar (which it won't) nothing on gods green earth could make me sit and watch it. if strapped to a chair you'd have to tape my eyes open as well otherwise i'd fall asleep in resistance.

The trailers are a little misleading. I didn't have high expectations for it, and I expected it to just be a comedy. It exceeded my expectations by a lot, and it turned out to not be a comedy for the most part. I do agree with you about Nicholas Cage, but he wasn't bad. And believe me, I really hate Nicholas Cage. The Wicker Man was possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The only good part was when he went around sucker punching a bunch of women. But I digress. I usually hate Nicholas Cage, but he wasn't bad in Kick-Ass.

Re: Saw some movies

Clash of the Titans is pretty good. Kick-Ass has its moments... I personally didn't think it was very good.
