I guess you've never known anyone who's committed suicide? People who seriously consider that have something wrong in their brain. It's not just a lack of respect for life. I think you should have a bit more respect for what is a serious mental illness.

Then they should talk about their problems. The majority of the suicides are men, because we keep things bottled up and rarely say what's wrong or what we're feeling.

I do know someone who's committed suicide. My cousin. I still think he's a tw*t for doing it but of course, I miss him. He had some problems with life and when he broke up with his girlfriend, it was to much.

I suppose, what I said may have came out harsher than it was intended but if I offended you, apologies. Though, I'd hardly call it a mental illness when hundreds of people do it for attention.

For people with deppression, talking about their problems is much more easily said than done. You can't just say, "Well it's their fault for not handling it right, and they're drodeds for doing it." The nature of deppression is such that you don't want to talk about it.

And who does it for attention? Your assessment of this is quite inaccurate.

Actually, I'm pretty sure if you tried to hang yourself, the pain would be unbearable, it's just that you can't do anything about it.

Depends on how you hang yourself, there are methods where it takes minute to die, methods where it takes seconds, instant and even where your head gets cut off if you use enough butter.
