Should I go or should I stay now?

some people just can't handle how insane these forums are. i had to wear sunglasses so i wasn't blinded by the shear radiance for the first several weeks, but the side effect of that was my loss of hearing from awesome yet incomprehensible music blasting into my brain as i read. oh well, at least i can read now without the sunglasses.

In what way? When I joined for the first time (back in 2008, made my first intro, etcetera etcetera) I never had any issues if it comes to getting involved in discussions and whatnot. But then again, it's just a select amount of people who might not experience the same as your statement suggests.

I didn't need sunglasses either, by the way. My pigment is dark enough not to experience as much side-effects as some others.

i wasn't referring to trouble blending in with the community, i was talking about experience this type of effect if unable to handle how awesome, extreme, and overall radical we are. and how lame those other fable communities are in comparison. :P

Ah, I see. But that's most certainly true.

I didn't really join any other Fable communities beside FableTLCMod and PE. I'm happy as it is right now. I guess all of us are -- or well, most anyway. :D

*cough* LHForums * cough*
The Lionhead forums is the prime example of a place I wouldn't want to be a regular of. No offence to them, of course.

I think it just all comes down to maturity levels. People that stick around generally have more maturity and are better equipped to handle online social situations. Though that in itself is ironic.

Well said, Lynne. If everybody can behave in a mature way, there should not be problems in the first place. Of course it's inevitable to have some conflicts here and there, but it would be to a very minimum.

Looks like Killermartha decided to stay after all. At least a little. Saw him in the Fable 2 Marketplace.

I'm saying it's not necessary to verbally bash someone who's not here anymore. No one's trying to say he was a nice guy, but no one needs to say anything about him in the first place.

Thats right, people can keep opinions of past members to themselves as they dont need any more attention giving to them. They should just be forgotten about and a distant memory.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if that is your attitude, you're probably better off staying away from forums. You will get negative responses and you will be challenged, and there's nothing you can do about it. It'll happen, and if you cry over it and make an attention-seeking thread every time it happens, then please, be my guest - leave and godspeed to you.

See? Negative posts, they happen and they are essential.
