So about that 2012...

I was actually hoping that the world would end. Not because I'm suicidal or depressed, but because it'd be totally amazing.

Picture it, dragons, bears, meteors, earthquakes, lava all that stuff would be intense as Hell and then we die, all our worries gone forever. What's not to like?

The dragon part.

The bear part.

Oh, and the dying part. Especially that one. I'd rather just let civilization die, not humanity. So we can live in a cool mohawk-everywhere-post-apocalyptic world.
 
Well Jake has made the best use ever of his time at the end of all things: he's wearing a sombrero, diving off the furniture and yelling "Buh Nike Oo!" (buzz lightyear, for those who don't speak Jakese)
 
Im disapointed that there aren't nearly as many people to mock as I had anticipated. All I wanted to do today was savor the sweet sweet vindication of hundreds of thousands of people being proven so incredibly wrong. I feel cheated.

Don't worry they'll be another apocalypse next year, I'm sure of it. We'll get through it though we always do.

Sounds worryingly similar to how I spend my Friday nights.
 
Heard on the radio that a bunch of your average loonies climbed up a mountain in France to greet the aliens. How they got that one from the Mayan calender I'll never know.

I'm betting they'll make the excuse that they got the date wrong, and we all die on New Years day or some such nonsense. I hear Harold Camping is still crying wolf on the Rapture.

I remember reading an article that a bunch of people have been buying one-way tickets to France for it being a safezone, I almost feel sorry for those poor bastards.

My favourite radio station played "It's the End of the World" by REM all day on repeat. I thought that was pretty funny.
 
There was a small part of me that was hoping it would end.

And that part is deeply disappointed.
 
I at least wanted something to happen! Not even a mass suicide in New York? Really?
 
The whole event was somewhat underwhelming really, no looting, no mass last-ditch orgies or any such thing like that.
