There is. It's called books. The problem is, there's another one outside of that, featuring depressing things like school and work.

It sucks. I have trouble balancing reading, gaming, and general dicking-around-on-the-internet with my literary pretensions and with my edumacation.

You think school/college is not fun? You're most likely wrong. School is the best thing you can ever experience. My life would be nothing without College, and I'm not planning to stop until my very last year of possibility. All life would be boring without study, and even more if you don't like school/college. I don't know if you've rounded-up yer study, but if you didn't; trust me, you will regret it once you're around the age of 30-40.

As for the gaming-addiction bit; I don't let games interfere with my real life issue either. I think it's rather pathetic, and I won't show anyone mercy, as it's a little thing called discipline.

No. I'm absolutely right. Regrettably, I don't have the money to dick around taking fun courses that interest me (history, writing). I just want/have to go through and get my degree so I can start working. Yeah, it's a bleak outlook; but so what? This **** is expensive.

Um... HOW old are you again? Don't you usually figure out that you need your edumacation by the time you hit, oh, twelve or so?

And you do seem to be a bit fuzzy on the concept of discipline. It doesn't neccesarily mean obedience, or staying in line. Personal discipline is simply doing what you need to; or whatever. F'rinstance, you'd need discipline, of one sort or another; to sit down and hammer out a novel, or write a song, or lead a revolution. It doesn't mean you toe the line and shove your head up your bosses ass.

I almost never study, not out of ignorance, or out of the simple fact that I do not really care, I just don't normally need to. Putting that minor note aside, you are quite correct in your second paragraph. Unfortunately, many individuals (myself included) lack self-discipline, and let their imaginations consume them. This, however, has the potential to be beneficial. With a highly active imagination, and a proper "edumacation," as you so eloquently put it, you could perhaps work for game studios such as Lionhead or Bungie as a game developer. Still, this requires self-discipline, and thus is highly improbable.
