That time of year again

Thought id inform people of my absence again just incase anyone needs me for anything and wonders where ive disappeared to. I shall be away from tomorrow afternoon until Monday at Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth. This thread has added significance because both me and Steve wont be online as he and Sharon are currently having internet connection fixed (the more observant people will have noticed their absence too). They shall be back online around 3rd August im told. So if by any chance the forums implode in that time then you will have to bare with us.

Any questions that can be answered by staff can be directed to Tsuyu and Gikoku in our absence and im sure they will be happy to help. However any issues that only the Admins can fix will have to wait a little bit.

^You stole my line.

Also what a bloody terrible lineup. People who listen to Rammstein will feel extremely stupid when they realize the lyrics are as complex as counting to 10, and as for the rest of the bands... Papa Roach? Good Charlotte? I feel genuinely sorry for you. But have a good time anyway.

Re: That time of year again

Ahh..Good Charlotte put on a good show, though. At least they can manage live sets. A lot of bands simply can't.

Sounds like you'll have a great time :D

Ive seen the lyrics in english but as im not german i dont much care for them. Their live shows are legendary and even friends who hate them say their shows are amazing. Papa Roach were decent live the 3 times i saw them. Never really been a fan of Good Charlotte so cant say much about them. Looking forward to Maiden (in whats meant to be last tour ever) just to say ive seen them, same with Alice Cooper and then Motley Crue as i havent seen them yet. Along with Karnivool, Skindred, Anthrax, Fear Factory, Corey Taylor, Apocalyptica and my girlfriends friends in Slave To Gravity it should be a good weekend. Even if it isnt to your taste.

Me and Tsuyu are so gonna destroy you all.

Not a bad lineup man, wish I could go see Skindred & Cooper. This will be your second time seeing Skindred won't it? I also wonder if Rammstein will grace the crowd with some nudity for that one song of theirs.

Ooooh, the admins aren't going to be at full force then? Do I smell some debauchery coming on?

Im back and it was awesome. Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden can still pull off a hell of a show at their ages. Rammstein were great too as were everyone else i mentioned.

Its the 4th time ive seen Skindred actually and watching them again in September at Ozzfest.

Ive already been and came back and they only sing in German. They released an english album but it just didnt feel like Rammstein. Can find english translations of all their songs though.

Re: That time of year again

One of the words they use, depending on how many letters are in the word, it changes the meaning. I remember debating my friend on what they actually meant. They are a strange band though.
