Just make sure you vary your attacks and magic often (use blade alot or blunt and dont alternate and also use healing AND offensive magic a lot try not to just use one style of spell over and over for example)

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

But magic isnt one of my major skills besides the healing magic. Blade is my only major skill for weapons. I frogot to mention i am a warrior.

Maybe not but if you use all different kinds of magic and such and skills for each type goes up it gets you closer to leveling up faster.

For example if you ONLY level up blade soon as you max it and go to next level you have to start from start of bar again to start on way to another level but if you level up lots of skills they all add up together to help you advance faster and easier.

Sounds like a good idea to me thanks.

Whats your opion of the vile lair update?

Ive not played it so couldnt give you an honest and first person account on it.

I do like the sounds of the new extras though and its dirt cheap:

1. A multi-level lair for murderous players to find refuge.

2. The Font of Renewal, where a player may purge himself of Vampirism.

3. The Shrine of Sithis where the infamous player may heal and be cured of disease.

4. A Dark Minion, who the player may employ to find gold in a most unseemly manner.

5. A 'cattle pen' for vampires to dine.

6. An indoor garden of venomous plants, including the notorious Chokeberry to feed to your enemy.

7. Various furnishing upgrades, including a study room and storage area.

Sounds good to me after all i play as a vampire and vile lair seems like a good idea. So once i get to lvl 31 or 32 i will get both so i get the highest rewards.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

If you can be bored playing Oblivion you arent playing it right...

Get some quests from factions and do some side quests and find some shrines to get some quests from and go looting caves or stealing... so much to do its crazy.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

I have looked around for quests and when I finaly get 1 I can't find where to go and stuff...

It's fun steeling and messing around though...

Use your journal and the arrows on your compass at bottom of the screen tell you where to go. Also remember to talk to people and they might help you out and listen in on peoples conversations.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

I think oblivion should've had more weapon depth you would use iron for like 2 minutes then youd have silver then eventually daedreth i think it shouldve taken longer to get a new weapon available you get a weapon raid the next dungeon get a better one it seems to easy to me

Im 52 hours in and just been doing sidequests and such and levelling up when i can but been holding back on some levels as parts of the game are near impossible at a really high level.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

When you get to the clavicus vile god quest if you keep the sword of umbra a very nice one handed sword its what i use, nothing happends if you give it to him you get a crappy helmet and a hint on umbra get your mages staff first and get a destructive magic on it (i did lightning) you get 80 points which is a very nice starter for the battle hit from far away and hit as much as you can before she gets to you, and fortify potions are great but trust me just keep the umbra sword, you get the option after you talk to clavicus, it helps alot.

Yeah ive got the umbra sword and kept it as a quest item so it weighs nothing, need Azura's Star aswel to make it better.
