I dont do any glitches or anything like that and make the money the honest way as its more satisfying.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

Shivering Isles Expansion Now Online - Get It Before Xbox Live Goes Down!

The downloadable expansion will cost you 2400 Microsoft Points ($30), and is nearly 1 Gig, so you'll have to jump on soon to get it and complete the download. At the time of this writing, the download was not showing up in the Newly Released Downloads section. To get it, you will have to go to: Xbox Live Marketplace -> Games -> All Game Downloads -> Oblivion.

Re: The Oblivion Thread!

I love my Shadowmare! Perfect for my little vampire Dunmer Assassin - and it is FREE!

Also, anyone noticed a maaaaajor problem with Oblivion? You level too freaking fast! You out-level your equipment in no time and soon the monsters/stuff become waaaaay too powerful to kill with your cruddy gear...

Yeah thats the main problem with levelling up and THEN doing the main quest, the good gear you had becomes quite weak in comparison with how strong the enemies get.

I always thought the Morrowind leveling system was kinda stupid. Sorta sad to see they have the same in Oblivion. The problem is the fact there there is a "level" and how it is increased. You can for example sky-rocket your Speechcraft and/or Merchantile and get like 3 levels out of that, and then be defenseless because the enemies got way stronger whilst your combat skills/gear did not.

That may be true. I noticed (perhaps it was just me) that Morrowind's levelling system went a little too slow. I even modded it to make it a bit faster. Maybe they made it faster for Oblivion to try something different. By the next Elder Scrolls they might get it perfect.

So true. I have Oblivion for PC and my friend has it for the 360. He is a serious cheater because he needs funding for his constant enchanting and other crap at the Arcane University. He hardly ever goes into dungeons, and my insight to this is simply, "If you aren't going into dungeons, then you aren't playing Oblivion!". Really, it's more satisfying when you know you earned that loot by slaying countless monsters or kicking the crap out of a bandit horde, instead of duplicating some item tenfold to sell.
