Maybe its arm keeps zombies at bay.

yay zombies. Iunno. It must do SOMETHING when it points to heros guild and the picnic area. The only other place I can think of is hookcoast, since picnic area is horizontal with hook coast.

I meant it to be a joke, not literal. I just got an image of the hero trying to run across water. :P

"On a related note, a quest from Fable may be spilling out into the real world; a character refered to in-game called "The Better Bard" has begun posting on the official XBox forums, seemingly providing clues to one of the quests in the game.

For a list & analysis of The Better Bard's posts Check here (broken link)
(Thanks to dek for the story and link)

The Better Bard has admitted he was a hoaxer, going so far as to set up a blog to gloat at Fable fans who believed his posts.

"CheeseMonkey writes: If you've played Fable, you have probably seen the Bards in the game, and may have had them tell you to find a 'better bard'. That better bard was found on the Fable forums. Or, so it seemed. He led on the gaming public for two solid days with a series of incredibly well crafted poems. Finally, he fessed up. 'I extensively blogged the whole ordeal, so you don't have to sift through all the rubbish' "

Most of the links are broken now and don't exist, I had to open the page in cached form to find it.

I can also find you a pile more of these. They all say the same thing.

It is just a normal legendary weapon, listed in may places as a TLC - only feature. From Archon's Shrine, go to the exit to Northen Foothills and walk out in the waters on a patch of ice and at the end of this trail there is supposed to be the chest.
