Vegetarianism

So, I have decided I am going to go Vegetarian (With the exception of Eggs) for a week or two, just to try it out, depending on how I feel, I might continue to be one (Not for any political reason, just to try a new life style.)

The thing is, I love to work out at the gym, and I am wondering if by going Vegetarian I am going to lose or damage my ability to work out for a couple hours every two/three days?

Re: Vegetarianism

I used to be vegan. Yeah. I remember that day.

Anyway, I don't thing going vegetarian will hinder your ability to work out, so long as you continue to get adequate nutrients.

Re: Vegetarianism

Don't change what works, man. I don't recommend a vegetarian diet, it's not as healthy as you'd think it is.

Vegan is more or less suicide, why would you want to live off of pills anyway? You're not a druggie.

If you like meat, keep eating it pal.

Re: Vegetarianism

I do like meat, and it isn't for health, it is just to try someonelse's way of life for a bit. If I start going down hill I will have no problem going back to normal.

Re: Vegetarianism

You're going to experiment with vampirism? Go for it!

If meat wasn't meant to be eaten, why did god create steak knives?

It's funny because god's not real.

But seriously, f*ck vegetarianism, and veganism even more so.
Bringing up religion in threads really isn't a good idea. Take my word for it.

Re: Vegetarianism

Who cares? Stop being so damn sensitive and overzealous.

My sister is a vegetarian and she suffers from ME. You'd think she'd be very fatigued, but most of the time she's alright so you should but fine working out on a vegetarian diet.

Re: Vegetarianism

not eating meat would affect your bodies ability to form new muscle.
you could always take vitamin supplements, but they are never as good as the material in it's natural form.

do what you want, but i love meat too much to give it up.
now if you'll excuse me, i got some bacon to fry dawg!

Re: Vegetarianism

Last night for dinner all I had was literally a plate piled one one side with these thin beef steaks, and the other side piled with crispy bacon. Nothing else, just meat. It was so good.
