I've always wanted to try something like an unconventional twist on an otherwise conventional costume- like a dorky werewolf or something. Hey, not all werewolves are the snarling killer types- some get rejected at high school dances and play D & D on weekends in their parents' basement. They even have pocket protectors and taped-up glasses! :lol: Meh, it's a start.

I've always wanted to try something like an unconventional twist on an otherwise conventional costume- like a dorky werewolf or something. Hey, not all werewolves are the snarling killer types- some get rejected at high school dances and play D & D on weekends in their parents' basement. They even have pocket protectors and taped-up glasses! :lol: Meh, it's a start.

Yeah, I'm just going to be wearing my normal clothes, plus one of the library's summer reading program t-shirts, and one of the faceless-black-figure halloween costumes over my head. I MIGHT try to pull my head partway inside the shirt and prop up my shoulders. I might also carry around a barcode scanner, maybe possibly.

Thanks-- that's the idea. You don't argue about your fines at THIS library [grin]. It's even better because I plan on actually wearing it at the library. We do this haunted house program, so the plan is that I'll work the desk the last hour (we do the haunted house in the basement after we close) as the Headless Clerical Aid.

Of course, knowing our customers, they'd still argue even if they were faced with a genuine eight-foot tall demon wearing a sign that said "argue about your fines and suffer eternal torment."
