While quite a funny picture, it's still pretty much the truth... Well, except for the last bit I guess... for some.

I guess I'm pretty much the one in the first and second-to-last one.
 
1st, 4th, and last.. 'cept that one was old VHS tapes from the 80s and not magazines. Thanks Mom & Dad!!

Can only imagine what it would be like without anymore internet... well, least people would be more physically active.
 
Last one: agreed.
Everything else: Partly. About 30-70%, so it's pretty much divided.

Also, I think the thread title is a bit off. I mean, 'technology' also still includes the radio, television, electronic instruments and phones.
 
2, 3 and 4 are accurate for me. When listening to and making music I let it blast through the speakers and feel it running through me. When playing guitar, I'm all around the place. Especially since buying this which I'm having a lot of fun with.
 
I still buy CDs and listen to them on my CD player in the livingroom.
I still buy DVDs or watch films on Sky movies.
I use the internet a lot for contacting people, but I still phone and text people frequently.
I like the smell of newspapers.

Well,
As active as I am at the computer I am also active everywhere else.
The majority of the music I listen to comes from mix CDs (used to be mix tapes!) from friends.
The entirety of the movies I watch happens in the living room, on television, with my VHS/DVD player. I don't have Blu-Ray.
The majority of my communications happens over the phone.
I watch the news on television. Now and then I'll pick up a local newspaper.
Playing music, well I don't have a piano anymore but I still have this 80s-ish Yamaha keyboard that still plays fine.
As for that very last one. Well I don't think anyone wants to know the details of that one.

Just stating that while computer is technology,' technology' doesn't immediately mean 'computer'.
Though, I'm pretty much the same (maybe less). And I don't think it's really old-school... yet.

The title isn't off.

Technology is a general term, yes. However, look at people (usually teenagers) who use their phones to text people around. If something's happening, what happens? No, people won't go to their friend's house to tell about it. Instead they spam their contact list on their phones with messages, or simply use the damned place known as Twitter.

Technology apart from that which doesn't let us communicate back/directly (i.e. Radio) has turned most people into lazy, less-caring zombies.

Wanna break a relationship? Text your partner and tell him or her it's over!
 
just guilty of number 2 and no it's not related to time period. i rarely show a physical reaction to what's happening in a movie unless watching in good company. well, rarely.

i like to yak on the phone more than most people, i always make that expression when i'm reading the news, i haven't a clue how to use any music creation programs, and i don't think i have ever masturbated while wearing headphones. if the scenario requires headphones then maybe you should be doing something else.
 
Only one of them isn't relevant to me.

I don't read the news.
 
I'd say that as far as the last one is concerned, it is a huge leap forward for mankind.
 
1. I listen to music on my itouch when I'm walking the dog, walking home from a friend's house, going on long car rides, etc. I don't have any music on my computer though. I get it all from my friend's computer.

2. Whether through DVDs or Netflix streaming, I watch movies and TV shows on my Xbox, though I've been using my laptop ever since my Xbox got messed up, so this one sort of applies to me.

3. I've never been a part of any social networking websites, and I never will be. I only contact people through calling and texting, and I very rarely use email.

4. The internet provides access to a lot of alternative media sources that have less filters than news coming from TV and newspapers, so I fully support using the internet for reading news.

5. I don't make music.

6. I just love how the dude's hand is no longer on the keyboard and is placed elsewhere instead. But yes, this applies to virtually everyone.

Probably except for Giki. Giki visits me every so often to give me a rough night. Just ask Giki if you don't believe me.
 
1st, 4th and last apply to me. The others i do the old school way.
the third should be a dude texting, or atlest on a iphone or sum **** cus ppl just facebook/twitter on the spot (ie: omg i found a dead body!1!!! XD LAWL*) from their smart phone rather then at home on thier PC

*mind you its never this interesting
