WHAT HAPPENED

I have a MAJOR problem with this new style... The 1 for the alerts looks too much like a 7, I felt really popular for three seconds :'(

Couple of issues to bring up m'afraid.

Everytime I try to log in, I'm brought here. Whereas before the little box would pop down. I don't know if I'm the only member having this issue, but I'm using Google Chrome and it's fairly new, I only recently downloaded it.

I agree with Tyloric and Walker, the new template is nice but there's a lot of red/orange and after a while it can become a little overbearing to look at. If I might suggest maybe changing some of the font - to purple perhaps, but I don't even know if that'll work with the bottom half of the background being purple.

Firis is right, when you have 1 alert, is does look an awful lot like a 7.

And now I notice the forum descriptions are stuck underneath. I've noticed in earlier posts there was an issue with the descriptions not popping up, and this might be temporary until the issue is mended, but I just want to say that the extra words make the entire forum longer and a little uncomfortable when scrolling to the bottom.

I've also notice the fonts are smaller in member profile boxes and the like, not really a huge issue. But I'm blind as a bat. Heh, I have to move my head closer to the screen to read it.

Don't get me wrong - once I got over the initial "OMG EVERYTHING'S CHANGED" I like the new template and it gets an all round thumbs up from moi, but these tiny issues are a little annoying and I have to be honest 'cause I luv dis forum so dern much as with everyone on it and I want to continue to enjoy it.

Is anyone else getting multiple posting errors? I tried posting in this thread again and it automatically double posted my response, after I went to delete the extra post, they both disappeared. On the Greatwood Park page it says I'm the 59th poster, but in the thread it says I'm the 60th.. above that it also says Whie_Howler is the 60th poster. So I don't know what's going on here..

Nah, it's the same at all the other forums as well for everybody.

The only issue I have with the template is the pure white background which hurts my eyes after a good while of browsing. Adjusting my screen brightness does little to help.

This I agree with, not only is all the text everywhere a bit overwhelming, but the extra scrolling is gradually bothering me. I'm sure it's on his list of things though.

Also: forum descriptions have been totally rewritten, with a view to reducing the amount of scrolling required to reach a forum.
