Im going to use a combination of the three. Guns at far range, the sword when they get close and magic to back both them up. Ill try to do that.

Yeah, but it kinda depends on how they're done. I mean, if you really look at it that way the greatax and greathammer and all from F1 were polearms-- they just ended up working like big, kind of unwieldy versions of the smaller weapons. But I'm pretty sure polearms could be more useful/creative/fun than that. I guess we'll find out soon.
