Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder? I think that is what it is called. Apparently I might have it because I'm slightly crabby and ****y during the winter, but I love the winter. Odd. :lol:

Rocked: Assembled part of my ventilation shaft in metal tech. Just got to pop the other sides on, hammer down the folds and then make the drive cleats and S cleats, attach it, then only one more part of my shaft to be done.

Sucked: I have a test on movie camera angles and poetry terms in English.

Rocked: Planning to do something incredibly embarrassing that will hopefully turn out well for me, if I'm lucky.

Sucked: My boss at the library, been the branch manager since 1998, incredibly awesome both as a boss and as the woman who runs the library, is leaving us for a branch in Accokeek*. What the hell.

EDIT: Also Sucked: Dropped the book that I had been reading for the Torch of Freedom, a David Weber/Eric Flint Honorverse book that I'd really been looking forward to. Had to stop reading because I was bawling my eyes out where a character's daughter died. ****ing ****ety ****.

*Ordinarily I would avoid mentioning any identifying placenames, but I've already said I live outside DC in a majority-minority county, so all that really tells you is one specific place I don't live. Not like it adds anything to the ability of my fellow forumgoers to stalk me.

- Never found the guy who stole my Dad's guitar amp.

I'm sorry to all you soccer fans out there (I.E., pretty much everyone who isn't American, Dominican, Cuban, and possibly Japanese) (or Canadian, since they have hockey) BUT HOLY **** THAT GAME IS BORING. Seriously. I admit that football is pretty damn boring, lots of standing around, but at least when they are moving there's something vaguely resembling a point and if they don't get anything done, then they give up the ball. This game was 49 minutes of frantically kicking the ball up and down the field while accomplishing nothing, accompanied by the drone of a horde of giant insects.*

*Look, I'm an American. I'm sure you can translate for yourselves. For Brits, soccer=football, football=American football. For Aussies, soccer=you-call-it-soccer-too-don't-you?-or-is-it-football and football=gridiron.
